Hi, I'm trying to find the best app for Android that monitors prices across the internet, but in particular price drops on products that you're keeping an eye on.

AnyTracker is an app I have been working on for the past 5 years. It can track any number or text on any website, making it a powerful tool unlike any other. You can get notified when the price of a product drops, or when it is back in stock again. The app can also be used to track stocks, currencies and crypto.

Trying to get a decent price tracker on Android and honestly most of the stuff on Play Store feels lazy. Half of them are just apps that forward deals from some Telegram group instead of actually tracking anything.

I just want something simple that can track my items, send me a notification if the price drops or if there’s a coupon. Would be great if it works across different Amazon regions too since I order from more than one site sometimes.

Everything I’ve tried so far looks outdated or half-broken. Anyone here actually using one that still works in 2025?

Hi all!

Moving into my own place soon and I need a LOT of stuff. I’ve got a spreadsheet and like 4 Amazon wish lists going but it’s getting really tedious to look up every item on 4+ sites to check the price, especially when trying to watch for price drops. I’m of course also using the buy/sell/trade sites but that’s kinda separate.

My main question is what recommendations do you have for price comparison sites and apps? Also do you have any that track prices on multiple sites and notify you of a price drop?

Appreciate the help!

August 3, 2025 - I’ve been in the same boat! Most trackers only cover 1-2 sites, which is frustrating. I’ve been using the Karma browser extension since it works across Amazon, Walmart, BestBuy and more plus it shows price history so I don’t have to manually check every day

r/Frugal on Reddit: App for price comparison between stores?
May 9, 2021 -

Hey r/Frugal!

I'm looking for an app that will allow me to scan receipts from different grocery stores, and log the prices of items, so I can quickly scan over which stores have the best prices for the items I need to buy.

For example, Store A has coconut milk for $0.99, while Store B has coconut milk for $1.49, and Store C has ultra-fancy, organic coconut milk for $3.29.

If I'm making a grocery list, and coconut milk is on the list, I'd want to be able to quickly look up which store I should visit to get the best deal.

I also want to be able to scan my receipts, to slowly build up this "best deal database," without having to manually enter in every single expense. (I know I can do this for free on an Excel spreadsheet, and I still might, if I have to, but being able to scan would save a lot of time.)

Does such an app exist? Everything I'm finding in the app store is geared toward generating expense reports and other functions for the IRS :/.

TIA!

r/SideProject on Reddit: I Created a Free Price Checking Mobile App - OneScan
October 16, 2023 -

I've created a free mobile app that lets you check prices for any product called OneScan. All you have to do is scan the barcode of an item with your phone's camera or search for it in the search bar of the app. It will pull live prices from Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and eBay if it finds a match. If you only want to use the barcode scanner feature, you don't even have to login. However, if you do login, you can use the search bar feature and we provide daily deals and track your past scans. You can even order items for in store pickup if you prefer to drive in. Both options are free as I do not have a premium option and I do not sell data. Please let me know if the app is intuitive to use and "pretty." It is still in its early MVP stage so there will be many changes coming tied to all of your feedback. You can download it from the website (Also looking for feedback on the website too!). For anyone curious, it was done entirely in Flutterflow with GCP as the backend.

What is a good price checker app for the phone? Say I am in a store, I scan the UPC code and then it compares with other local retailers and some of the big online sites such as Amazon.

I googled and saw this article but there is just so many: https://www.pcmag.com/feature/290959/the-best-shopping-apps-to-compare-prices/ Figured I would ask here. Although I do like the walmart price match feature through the app I will definitely install that app. :)

Does anyone know a good website to track price drops and deals? I used to use honeys feature to track it but after finding out about some sketchy things they do I decided not to use it anymore and was looking for an alternative. Mainly wanting something that will let me save an item on Amazon or other similar sites and will notify me of a sale or price drop.

r/Frugal_Ind on Reddit: Tools to track how "good" a deal actually is - Price Tracking Websites
July 21, 2024 -

Referring to the recent posts on this sub about strategies to spend less in sales and avoid being tempted by the deals, here are some tools that I personally use to help me understand how "good" a deal actually is.

These tools are basically price trackers with chrome extensions and options to notify you when a price drops and work across Amazon or Flipkart. This way you can plan what you need well in advance, set a tracker, check during sale period whether price has actually dropped and then take decision accordingly.

  1. https://pricehistory.app/ - The UI is pretty good, tracks price consistently of most products I've tried and has filtering options in graph too. Chrome Extension is good too

  2. https://www.pricebefore.com/ is a decent one too incase the first one doesn't help

  3. Sometimes we want to compare prices across websites and its difficult for non-branded products. For those I use pricee.com or cheapshops.in

Just to clarify, I'm in no way affiliated to any websites shared. Just mentioning some I use personally.

Hope it helps people.

Hey everyone, I’m a solo dev and just finished Price Tracker – a 100% free tool that tracks prices across Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Target, BestBuy, Shein, and AliExpress with one click (Chrome extension). The free version stays free forever with:

  • Price history charts

  • Real email alerts (only when price actually drops)

  • Works in 4 languages + 3 currencies

  • No ads, no limits on tracked products Pro adds the stuff people go crazy for:

  • AI that says “STRONG BUY – lowest in 14 months” or “WAIT – Black Friday drop coming”

  • Global price checker (cheapest country + real shipping/tax)

  • Live Reddit opinions + working coupons

  • Priority support I want the core to stay free forever (because I hate paywalls), but I need to eat and keep building. So be brutally honest: What would you actually pay for Pro?

  • $4.99/month | $49/year

  • $6.99/month | $59/year

  • $99 lifetime (limited) Something else?

  • “I’d never pay – free is enough” (No pressure – just want real feedback before launch)

Hello there. I am searching for a website/app that works like a browser extension that is able to track a products price (able to distinguish websites html/css and recognise prices) over a span of, say, 12 months then send you a notification that price shifted?

So far I found Camelcamelcamel, Keepа and a few others but they have quite outdated UI/UX and lack a lot of desireable functions. Goal isnt just to track Amazon, but other sites too.

I have been recently building a price checker app named Billit. The app’s usage is available when you are at one of the supermarkets registered on our platform. The goal is simple: Anyone at the store could check the prices of any item they scan on their phone. The challenges: Integrating with hundreds of different systems that supermarkets or retail stores already have in use or convincing the stores to update their prices on our platform every time a price changes since prices are often volatile The monetizing: Ads would be the primary source of monetization, but unlike other platforms we would need to control the quality of the ads shown to the users. This is why i am developing ‘ad studio’ and it’s a platform for anyone (including the stores) to add custom ads that would display on our app. Ad makers would visually be able to see how their ads show on our app through the website. Moreover, store owners could promote products that are not selling hot at the moments which could blend beautifully with the visuals of our app.

www.billit.store (https soon enough)

Please do drop any negative or positive comments on why this is either a good or terrible idea, I would love to know more about that.

I am trying to get a head start on my New year shopping. I have a pretty good list already but I don't want to pay too much. I was trying to find a program or app that will help me find price drops on items I need. I was able to find many apps that do this but I don't know which is best. Do any of you use an app/website like this? Which is your favorite and why?

Thanks for the help!

I am seeking a way to set price alerts through one or two pages or apps that cover more than Amazon. Best Buy has great sales sometimes and I just totally miss them because my apps (do their best) at Amazon and only Amazon.

Suggestions?

I use CamelCamelCamel.com a lot. Generally reliable, but cumbersome when navigating from the Amazon app to the web browser to the link and setting the alert. It is the most reliable so-far despite whatever happened during lockdown.

I have an iPhone and use PricePulse. It’s ok. Multiple listings for the same item confuse it and it can’t find others. I have been alerted to solid deals by it, but missed many, and am alerted to even more than don’t exist.

What do you use? Alternative trackers for Amazon welcome as well as ones that track more. I don’t really want to check Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Kohl’s, Home Depot, etc, install all their apps and then add every product I want to follow to each one manually, if there is a better way.

r/Frugal on Reddit: App/program that automatically tracks which grocery store has the best price for an item?
March 18, 2023 -

I used to manually keep track of where I can find the best price per unit for an item on an Excel sheet, but I wanted to know if there's an app/program that automatically tracks which grocery store has the best price for an item if I scan my receipt? Or something along those lines. It's been tedious for me to compare prices and update my own guide, so I haven't been keeping up with it. I've been considering switching from primarily shopping from Sprouts to Trader Joe's, but I believe the decision would be easier to make if I had a sort of price comparison app.

Much love to this subreddit! The tips I've read under other posts have been tremendously helpful, and I'm thankful anyone that write tips for this post too.

What do y’all use to track your card prices? I’ve always used the price charting website but recently wanted to use one of the apps to create a portfolio of my collection to easier track the prices. I went with the collectr app as I’ve heard good things but noticed the prices to be pretty inflated compared to price charting, especially on my older cards. With all the recent hype I’m sure prices are all over the place but any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks!
