UPDATE:
It's been about 6 months since I posted this, thought it was time to check if there are any updates - below has been updated with the info I found today (August 4, 2024).
Amazon Prime Canada has a bunch of extra channels, but they don't make it easy to learn anything about what channels are available, the cost, for how long you might get a free preview, or how to cancel a subscription.
A couple of days ago I dug around and found the following (by monthly fee):

It's easy to subscribe via the app, but to cancel a channel you have to visit Amazon.ca in a browser (NOT in the app) and navigate to your Video settings and Manage Subscriptions.
Is it any good? From what I read on several App Stores, people don’t like the selection, and I even hear some of the stuff displayed isn’t playable, even though it’s shown in the app..?
Having the app without an account, the stuff it shows looks pretty good to me (is there a way to make sure that’s the Canadian catalog btw? I can’t see any specification in the app).
I mostly want to know if it’s true that they show stuff you can’t actually watch in the catalog.
