I live in the UK and my package was dropped off by the sender on Tuesday 12 April The latest tracking info was on 15 April and says “Your item was processed through our LOS ANGELES CA INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER facility on April 15, 2022 at 9:27 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination.”
Does this mean my package should be arriving today? Has it literally been stuck on a plane this whole time seeing as the tracking hasn’t updated? If it hasn’t arrived in the UK yet, I’m guessing it’s not going to take 3-5 business days…
I paid for priority express international and its supposed to arrive in 3-5 business days with it..soon to be on 2 weeks with this. Does anyone know if this latest update means it left the airport or its going through customs?
I just hope it isnt lost.
There is no benefit to using express vs just plain priority mail for international destinations. It takes just as long. USPS used to have a policy of refunds for late deliveries but they quietly canceled it and are now treating both exactly the same except the "Express" option costs twice as much but still takes 2-3 weeks to deliver (if you're lucky)
Hello everyone
Bought something on ebay, shipping method is ebay international standard delivery. USPS got item, then dhl ecommerce, and now it's again with usps, with destination to my house. On usps website, it says priority mail express international. It now says: Your item was processed through our JAMAICA NY INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER facility on May 25, 2021 at 2:43 pm
However,on cp'so website,it says multiple pin, nothing else. How long will it take to be delivered to my house? Also, what service will canada post use when my package gets to canada? And what does this multiple pin mean?
Tracking number is: LX004680405US
Thank you everyone
USPS Priority Mail Express International is a Joke:
On December 16th, I sent a 3 pound package from New York to Prague. The cost was $100. I was told that the package would arrive in 3 - 5 days. I knew this was a lie from the onset. The package wasn't labeled "Express Priority" and was thrown in the basket with every other package after labeling. Yes, it was the holiday season, hence why I sent the package on December 16th. It arrived today, January 2nd. I paid for expedited shipping and it was not delivered on time. What's incredible to me was how long the package sat in U.S. custody and barely moved. If USPS can't make an express delivery, don't charge for it. It's stealing from people. Here is the breakdown.

On Oct 5th I dropped of a $68.70 "Priority Mail Express International Flat Rate Envelope" in California that (according to USPS) is supposed to be delivered in "3 to 5 business days" to a destination in Europe.
It too a whole 5 days for the item to even end up in LA and on Oct 12th I got the update that it "arrived at a transfer airport" (also in LA). Now today a whole 8 days later I finally get an update that it "departed the transfer airport".
I understand that USPS can't guarantee any times for the international part of the delivery. But how is it possible that a a package that's supposed to be delivered within 3-5 days takes a whole 15 days before it even departs the United States? Am I just unlucky or is USPS always that slow?
I sent an important envelope from Carmel, IN on May 17 using Priority Mail Express International, expecting it to arrive at its destination within the advertised 3–5 business days. To my surprise, it only departed from Chicago on May 28 — 11 days later which is today. That’s already well past the delivery estimate, and it hasn’t even reached the destination country yet.
The worst part? The envelope contains an important document that absolutely needs to be delivered before June 4, because the person receiving it is traveling and wouldn't be able to receive it. Now I’m seriously worried it won’t make it in time, and there’s been no clear explanation from USPS on why it sat in the U.S. for so long.
Given that this service supposedly offers a money-back guarantee in some cases, I’m planning to follow up with customer service and see if I can at least get a refund — but honestly, that doesn’t solve the problem at hand.
Has anyone else had delays like this recently with Priority Mail Express International? Did you manage to get a refund or get it expedited somehow? Any advice or similar stories would be helpful!
Thanks for reading — fingers crossed it somehow still makes it in time.
Hello,
just wanna ask about international mail in USPS
got these updates today
how much time it takes to get delivered ?
hey why chicago is bad about USPS ?
There are only 5 International Service Centers for ALL the international mail/packages in or out of the US. Chicago is one of them, that’s why.
Speaking from experience priority mail international takes 21+ days to get delivered that's including the 6-10 day delivery. I ordered something from Germany and it took 28 days total.
I ordered something and used international priority shipping, but just about an hour or so ago the tracking updated to “Running Late”. For reference this is from Japan to USA (Texas).
Is Running Late meaning it’s actually running late or is it just going through customs? 😭 I’m really needing this package by this Friday! (Also for reference, the dates on there are Japan’s dates so a day ahead of USA) I ordered this Saturday night and it was shipped the next day.
I live in orlando florida and i really need this package ASAP!
Just wondering if it’s possible to get a refund when shipping times are not accurate? I understand things can take a week longer or so…but I ordered something from MUAC in the USA and had the option of
1: USPS international mail 7-21 days $20 USD
2: USPS Priority mail International 6-10 days $67 USD
I went priority mail. It was sent on the 27th of November and USPS website said it just landed in Australia today(10th of December), but another state. It looks like it takes 2+ days between places and was jumping around so many places on USPS tracking.
Is this normal? If something says 6-10 business days and it’s not here and close to 20 days, can I get reimbursed? I would have chosen the $20USD option if I knew this was the case.
Just curious what I can do in this situation as $67 USD is expensive compared to $20 USD.
Thanks in advance.
One of my items that I have up for sale I am offering free shipping with USPS Priority Mail and I just received a message asking about shipping to Australia. Is it possible to put more than one shipping method? I think I only was able to choose one when I created the listing. I'm new to eBay so I'm unsure about the best way to go about this. Thanks!
Hi guys, I have a question I haven’t found the answer to online and want to make sure all my ducks are in a row before sending.
I’m looking to send a gift from the US to Japan using priority mail so that I know it should arrive 6-10 business days after sending. It’s kind of fragile and with the bubble wrapping, it’s a tight squeeze to use a small flat rate box. Medium flat rate is significantly larger than I need, and the item is very light anyway, so medium flat rate is probably not cost effective.
I have an unused box from the UPS Store, it just has their branding on it. It is the perfect size. Can I use this? Should I cross out their logos?
For the actual address, the Japanese formatting is quite different than the forms I found online for usps. Can I hand write the address (in English) in their format with JAPAN written clearly at the bottom? Or will I be forced to cover up the addressee section with a printed label in a different format? There is nothing of monetary value in the package, it is just sentimental and I want to do my very best to make sure it arrives to the right place at near the right time.
Thank you!
