USPS Priority Mail International tracking
Can you track USPS Priority Mail Express International packages?
Tracking is automatically included when using USPS Priority Mail Express International. You’ll receive a tracking number when the package is shipped, which allows you to see real-time updates online. This includes package origin, transit checkpoints, customs status, and the estimated delivery window.
How to track your package
You can enter the tracking number on the USPS website under the "Track a Package" section. If you prefer to track across multiple couriers or want additional delivery notifications, platforms like Ship24 offer a way to follow your shipment more closely.
Does USPS Priority Mail International include tracking?
Yes. Once your package is shipped, USPS provides a tracking number. This number allows you to check your package's progress online, from acceptance at the post office to delivery. Tracking updates are available on both the USPS website and Ship24.
Tracking number format
The USPS Priority Mail International tracking number consists of 13 characters. It typically starts with two letters such as “CP,” followed by nine numbers, and ends with “US.” Example: CP123456789US.
I live in the UK and my package was dropped off by the sender on Tuesday 12 April The latest tracking info was on 15 April and says “Your item was processed through our LOS ANGELES CA INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER facility on April 15, 2022 at 9:27 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination.”
Does this mean my package should be arriving today? Has it literally been stuck on a plane this whole time seeing as the tracking hasn’t updated? If it hasn’t arrived in the UK yet, I’m guessing it’s not going to take 3-5 business days…
There is no benefit to using express vs just plain priority mail for international destinations. It takes just as long. USPS used to have a policy of refunds for late deliveries but they quietly canceled it and are now treating both exactly the same except the "Express" option costs twice as much but still takes 2-3 weeks to deliver (if you're lucky)
