I'm reconnecting with my dad who I havent seen in 15 years.
Is there any good places were we can hang out indoors, order coffee and stuff
But no one will disturb us or hear us talk?
I'd rather not hang out at each others places

I would go to Hyde Park or somewhere like that
Get a couple of coffees and stroll around the park or sit on a bench
Avoid coffee shops. They're always really noisy and busy.
Some pubs may be good, often there's quite a few with quiet corners and a calm environment

The Barbican has lots of options: small tables on the first floor; a couple restaurants/cafes; a huge outdoor seating area by the water. If you're there during the day you should be able to find somewhere quiet.

We’re visiting London for five days. It’s her first time here, so we’re staying somewhere central. We aren’t really used to this “European” urban beauty, so we’re excited to explore. We don’t want to venture too far from the center since we aren’t renting a car. I think she would prefer either a park with a beautiful view or a location that offers a nice city view.
