December 7, 2019 - The Delta is the culmination of years of engineering and design development and it is the pinnacle of Hui’s flashlight production and it is a truly superlative light hanging with the BOSS 35 at the absolute pinnacle of high end torches. Unlike a lot of the newer high end torches both the BOSS 35 and the Delta aren’t just machining achievements, they also offer state-of-the-art boards.

Stopped over by Prometheus Lights yesterday and picked up my new Delta. I love this thing. The beautifully finished nickel plated aluminum, the contrast of the exposed copper heatsink fins, silky smooth metal button, the silky smooth threads, the perfect size in hand and that beautiful beam. It's everything I love about the Alpha but in a smaller lighter package. I got the Delta with Nichia 219Cs (5000K color temp) because I wanted good cri with a more neutral daytime-y color temperature. So far I'm liking it, though the color temperature is going to take a little getting used to after all the time I've spent using the warm amber-y MCE in my Alpha. More on reddit.com

August 21, 2025NLT Prometheus Delta Custom with Nichia 519A
Been lurking here for a while. Truly appreciate all I've learned from y'all (I've embraced warmer higher CRI lights). After EDCing a Beta QRv2 for a few weeks I decided to pull the trigger (click the switch?) on a Delta Custom with Nichia 519As, glow board, and medium optic. This thing is slick! The machining is fantastic and the threads are so, so smooth. Programming is a bit overwhelming at first. I settled on .04%, 1.5%, 17%, 50%, with 35% strobe on the double click. (Somehow I find myself happening upon car wrecks and directing traffic a few times a year) Did I pay too much? Probably. Is it more light than I need? Yup (I mean, I'm using 50% as high). But I am happy to pay for a light that is overbuilt and overengineered, should last a long, long time, that was made in the US, and that has components that can be replaced or upgraded.
