For the record, it's possible to get an auto-renewed subscription cancelled if it's fairly recent (mine was billed yesterday). Here's what PS Support emailed me: Hello _____, Thank you for contacting PlayStation Support regarding your PlayStation membership. When you purchased PlayStation Plus (or started the trial), the product description clearly stated that you were purchasing an ongoing subscription that would be automatically billed at your desired frequency. Our cancellation policy allows a 14 day “cooling off” period on the first purchase of a subscription. During this time you can get an idea of the services offered and request a refund. However, this cooling off period does not apply to consecutive and recurring payments. You can cancel your subscription at any time during the first 14 days. The subscription will then expire at the end of the current month and all future payments will stop. However, you will not receive a refund for payments that have already been made. We'll also send you a timely email reminding you when the next payment is due. But I see that your next membership payment was made recently, so I canceled it and credited the amount _____ to your payment method as a gesture of goodwill. Depending on your payment method, you will receive the money back within 5 working days.
