Playstation dual-shock 4 controller is the best game controller
Is the Ps4 controller worth it for PC?
My reasoning is simple:
-
The main input device on a PC is a mouse/touchpad.
-
The PlayStation 4 controller is the only controller that has a touchpad built in.
-
If you're sitting a couple of metres away from your PC on the couch, you can use a PlayStation 4 controller to control both the mouse pointer and your games.
Where to buy a PS4 controller? Amazon are overpriced and most places I see are sold out.
what is a good, cheap, ps4 controller?
Hi there, I'm in a similar situation, and answers below terrify me. Instead of understanding the situation and recommending something, everyone just says DualShock 4. I love my DS4 controller, but I don't want to spend 70$ on one. The gamepad is over the top in quality and feel, but 70$?? Seriously?
Started to look for some variants, and came to conclusion, that a fine controller would cost around 35$, which is much better than 70$.
My advice would be to look for controllers with many reviews on Amazon or else website. At least those won't break in 1 month.

Like most gamers l've been using the dual-sense PS5 controller, (on all consoles) since PS5 came out. Lately I went back to using the PS4 dual-shock & really like the look & feel of this controller better. It's not as bulky, & the designs/colours look so much better. I consider the PS4 dual-shock to be the perfect hybrid of the PS3 dual-shock & the PS5 dual-sense. I use them on all consoles with Brooks Wingman adapters What's your favourite controller to use & why? These are my currently favourites Standard black, clear, camo green, camo grey, army green, & a custom Friday the 13th.
The last 3 I do not have yet but I’m looking at them, 20th anniversary grey, 500 million blue, & steel black.
Is the Ps4 controller worth it for PC? I already own both a PS3 controller (I use it with Xinput Wrapper), an Xbox 360 controller and a logitech f310 gamepad. I love the Xbox 360 controller but the d-pad is fucking awful, and that's what usually makes me use the Ps3 controller instead for most games, since most games I play don't have analog controls.
I heard that the PS4 controller is really good, but it's 60 bucks. Is it worth it?

I love my ds4 on PC. I actually use the trackpad quite a bit because I bought it for wireless couch gaming. Being able to use it to start/stop media is a nice bonus. I still have two wired 360 controllers, but I just missed the feel of the dual shock.
Edit: as others have pointed out, you need 3rd party software like ds4tool or ds4windowa
Can anyone give me some advice here? Point me in the right direction? The title says it all and I need a new controller ASAP. Why are Amazon overpriced? Why are they sold out in so many places? I’d like this preferably delivered if at all possible. Thanks in advance.
