So, I obviously want my controller batteries to last as long as possible. I remember with the PS4 letting the controller die completely before its first full charge. Is this the case with the Dualsense? Any advice on its first charge to get the best possible battery life out of my new controllers? I have the charging station but have yet to use it because I wanna make sure I do this right. Thanks!

I’m not sure if I missed something, but my PS5 controller only seems to charge when connected to my PS5. I have some USB-C chargers to charge other devices of mine and if I plug it in there, it does not charge?
My PS5 only powers the USB ports for a few hours. So if I’m wanting to play and it has been a while, I have to turn on my PS5 just to start charging it in preparation to play later.
Is this normal?
Currently I'm using my pc or an old phone charger, I was looking at charging docks but the ones I found are from random brands I never heard of in my life .
