It includes a bunch of notes, completely new and more specific requirements for each tier, and a lot more ATX 3.0 and 3.1 PSUs. I know that there is a section called "Tiering Criteria" which already explains everything. But I'm just a filthy casual that doesnt know the meaning of stuff like "input range, transient response, and 18 guage".
So for people like me, can someone give a simple explanation that differentiates a Tier A PSU from a Tier B, C, D, E, and F PSU?
I'm currently trying to find a good PSU for my very first gaming PC but paranoid that its a B rating hahaha.
This PSU Tier List is provided to help users choose a safe and reliable power supply for their PC builds.
Power supplies are often overlooked, but choosing a low-quality unit can lead to instability or hardware damage. This tier list is intended to make PSU selection easier by grouping power supplies based on overall quality and reliability.
Use this as a general guide, especially if you’re new to PC building. Higher tiers indicate better quality and safety, while lower tiers should only be considered for very basic systems or avoided.
Hey I knew there is a huge PSU tier list since I am looking to buy a new PSU but I can't find it. Can anyone send me the link?
