Often that's the problem, and you need to pull the door all the way to the ground by stepping with your foot on one of the handles, while sliding the latch to the right to get it firmly into place. Hi,
I am having to move my property to a storage unit while in between houses and ended up selecting a unit from Public Storage. As part of signing up, they inform you that you have to pay $20 for their lock, which based on research seems to be a PacLock 1000. They also advised that I can furnish my own lock as long as it is a cylinder lock. I know the Abus 24/70 was recommended on various articles I read, but most of what I read including here on Reddit is from 2+ years ago. I'm just mainly looking for the best value relative to security. If the PacLock at $20 is the best value, great, but wanted to confirm with folks more knowledgeable on the subject than I am.

Public storage lock and key are so fucking cheap. The keys could be made with foil and I’d believe it because of how many times the key has broken inside. Piece of crap.
