I have a 36" Base Cabinet with about 34" of minimum opening due to hinges for the two doors. There is no center divide at all so it's 34" wide unobstructed (or stile, it's completely open). I'd like to purchase some pullout organizers, e.g. Rev-A-Shelf but I'm having a hard time figuring out the configuration. I would have thought this was a common use case but every photo they show is for a smaller narrower single cabinet.
I think two of the 18x22 units might work. The drawers are inside of the frame which requires 17.5 inches minimum opening but its unclear of that's for the wide of the actual drawers or the frame (so you can fit the frame inside the opening).
Has anyone put two pullouts in the same 36" wide base cabinet?

I recently moved to a new apartment and am running into a tricky situation. The kitchen has incredible storage but the pantry area has some really funky shelves that make it difficult to grab stuff and I need ideas for what I can install. They are 13" wide, 27" deep, and 19" tall. Any ideas?

The expensive option is to install pullouts. You'd install them on boards that are closely fitted to the cabinet with a board pressure fitted at the back to the bottom of shelf above so they won't slide and tip. You'll lose some space to either side if the cabinet is framed. They only work on shelves so high although there are extra fancy pullouts that pull out and down. Suspect they need to be firmer attached to wall or shelf though. The cheap option is to use 2 bins/boxes per shelf. One in front for stuff in use, the one behind for inventory and less often used items. For small items in 'prime real estate' [waist to shoulder height] back areas a turntable might come in handy in back. 19" high shelves are ridiculous. If shelves are adjustable have shelves cut to same size as existing shelves and buy pegs. If not adjustable make an upside down U with horizontal shelf on top. Take it apart and set the vertical pieces in cabinet then reattach the shelf. Of course you can buy adjustable shelves but may not find the height and depth you'd like and DIY are heavy and steady.

What a quandry. Such a torturous arrangement. Vertical dividers, shelf risers, and cabinet shelving can all be your friend. Place seldom used items (party stuff, holidayware) in the back. If you're going to be there awhile and landlord is okay with it, maybe install a sliding shelf.. maybe a secondary shelf at the back for lightweight stuff like cereal boxes??. Wish I could be more concrete, but, really, the architect really blew it here ..
