Ive worked at Costco as a employee and vendor. Costco dictates prices they want and vendors bow to them and make custom products. Most often the products are subpar. When I worked for a flavored butter roadshow Costco told us they wanted double the weight and wanted to charge a $1 more. So we added chemicals and salt and made it 49% margin as well as use heavier packaging to make the product weigh more to trick consumers. They were not getting a better deal. It took twice as much of the product Often times this means vendors cut corners 2 hdmi ports instead of 5. Hdmi cord not included vs included on Amazon version. Often times it means lesser quality graphics cards or 200gb hard drive vs 250.

Do not purchase a purple.! They suck. But if you are dead set in buying a purple buy with Costco.. they have the best warranty on mattresses. You can get a full refund up to a year I think. But I have a tempurpedic. And I love my temp. I went through 4 mattresses in 5 years. And the only reason is because they discontinued the softness I was looking for. But they started to remake that mattress again so I bought it and waking up without body aches is between wanting to kill my self or wanting to get up and do things in life. I have chronic pain so I need a soft mattress. More on reddit.com

I don’t know about the newer models, but we have a queen of the original Purple mattress (THE first one). It’s still as springy and comfortable as ever. I love the grid and will definitely look at them again. That said, I had heard some quality may have gone down despite price increases. But I’m also in the camp that thinks buying a mattress for 15 years is insane for any company. More on reddit.com

The mattresses in the Essential and Restore Hybrid collections are delivered rolled and need a few hours to expand and reach their final size. You have to set up the mattress yourself and put it on top of slats or a box spring. The mattresses in the Rejuvenate Luxe Collection are delivered flat and include white-glove delivery, and they can also work on both slats and box springs.
