Hey fellow redditors!! I had an inquiry about what the best way to go about getting a degree or certificate in Python would be. I am based in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area and would love in person, but I am not against remote learning either.
A little background about me: I’m 28 years old and am fed up with my job in sales. It’s good money and all, but honestly there are far too many cons for me. I like the idea of a coding job because it checks a lot of my boxes as far as I’ve been told/ researched. These are:

Can usually be done remotely, this is huge for me as I have a lot of family scattered around and would love to be where I want when I want most of the time

I am absolutely fed up with people as a whole. Sales brings you just about every end of the spectrum with people, and the amount of entitlement, blatant disrespect and overall lack of kindergarten level manners has me over the edge at this point.
I took a course on JavaScript via SoloLearn, as well utilizing a textbook (JavaScript, the definitive guide 7th edition), but honestly wasn’t enjoying it too much. I switched over to python (so far utilizing python crash course, 2nd edition) and am halfway through it and can say definitively that I much prefer this language. I was all set to enroll in Prime Academy bootcamp in Minneapolis once I had a bit more money, only to find out that their full stack course focuses on HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, command line and GIT. I actually know a few people that went there, love it, and also have great careers with help from that institution.
Looking into things, the one at the University of Minnesota focuses on all of those as well, with both lacking a python course. So my question is, with all of these scams out there (for lack of a better word) does anybody know of a course/ bootcamp that they would recommend and can vouch for? I do not mind the expense, but me being the age of 28 I would like something more along the lines of a 2 year program, it at all possible. Any help or advice is much appreciated.
