I’ve been in that same spot, getting help for python online can be a hit or miss. What I learned is to look for tutors who teach through examples, not shortcuts. AssignmentDude was one I tried during college, and the way they explained loops and data structures actually stuck with me. It’s worth finding someone with that kind of teaching approach. I'm speaking from experience: You don't need a tutor or expensive Udemy courses to learn to code. I learned the basics of youtube, and then made my personal projects. The projects don't have to be hard, you just have to practice regularly. They should be challenging a little so that you learn something. And if you wouldn't know something, first google it then ask on the Python Discord, they always helped me. Good luck with your journey.

I'm learning python but am looking for a tutor site but I get some that some say are scams, aren't good etc and I'm having trouble finding a reputable and very very good site to learn python.
I know I can learn alone but a tutor would really help but I'm unsure where to look.

Finding a local tutor will be much more effective. Python is the most popular programming language in the world, you are sure to find someone in your area that can help, probably among your friends or family or local library / church / makerspace / school / etc. Source: was an online tutor. It's very hard.

I tend to put print() statements everywhere to help me follow my code but I've just discovered this website which lets you step into it line by line.
Extremely useful and wish I had found it earlier!

If you paste your code in https://futurecoder.io/course/#ide then you can try 3 different debuggers (pythontutor is one) to debug code in different ways.

It's a shame it isn't what it once was. It used to have "live chat" where you could request help, and anybody wanting to help would he paired with you and you could collaborate. Then it was taken over by the Religious to proselytize, trolls, and people dumping homework. It was a good like month while it lasted.
