I know Qi1 is limited to 7.5W charging speeds. And Qi2 is 15W. Magsafe is 15W as well.
I'm getting the S24U with the DBrand Magsafe case. However, trying to find a charger I actually like is difficult.
There's some Magsafe chargers I like, but want to make sure it'll still charge my phone at the faster speeds.

Does iPhone 15 Support Qi2?
Yes, the iPhone 15 supports Qi2. The iPhone 15 can be charged without plugging it in! It works with special charging pads that use a technology called Qi2. It can also be charged with a magnetic pad called MagSafe, which charges it really fast (up to 15W). And if you don't have those, it can still be charged with a regular pad, but a little slower (up to 7.5W).
Are All Samsung Phones Qi Enabled?
Samsung phones are compatible with the Qi standard for wireless charging, meaning that the majority of wireless chargers should be able to work with them. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that newer chargers are more inclined to provide faster charging speeds.
I'm trying to decide between a magnetic Qi charging station (7.5W) and the Qi2 version (15W) of the same model for my iPhone 14 Plus based on what is best for battery health. I don't care about charging speed as I only plan to use the charger overnight. So, normally I would opt for a 7.W charger over a 15W charger as slower is generally better for battery health. But what about heat?
Qi2 supposedly generates less heat because it is more efficient. However, this particular Qi charger uses "magflow" to attach the iPhone magnetically. So would that negate most of the inefficiency typically caused by poor aligment? Or will the Qi2 charger run cooler, even if it is charging the iPhone at 15W?
TL/dr: Will a 7.5W Qi magnetic charger create more heat at 7.5W than a Qi2 magnetic charger creates at 15W?
I want the 25W wireless speed for my new iPhone, but I remember the old MagSafe pucks getting my phone to lava temperatures just doing 15W.
Has the tech actually improved with Qi2.2? I’m eyeing a few models but scared of cooking my battery health. Honest user experiences wanted!
Apple Magsafe VS Anker MagGo Qi2
Hi! I want to buy a wireless charger puck for my S24 mostly for practicality and to try to preserve USB connector as usually for me is the main reason for phone replacement.
These are the current options I have in mind (Europe prices) (I´m fully open to new suggestions):
Apple Magsafe Charger: 37€
https://www.amazon.fr/Apple-MHXH3ZM-A-Chargeur-MagSafe/dp/B08L5R6ZHP/
Anker MagGo Qi2: 33€
https://www.amazon.fr/Anker-Chargeur-Induction-Compatible-Alimentation/dp/B0CMH2JVMM/
Giving the little price difference I tend to think the Apple as a better Price/quality purchase but I wonder about Android compatibility, charging speeds and magnet attachment force.
Thanks for your help!
Since apple has qi2 on iPhone 15’s, is there any difference with the original MagSafe charging puck they came out with? I have not heard of a firmware update with the charger. Would there be any difference between the two?
