That might not sound like a lot, but it can make a noticeable difference in comfort—especially if one or both of you move around at night or one is 6 feet or taller. Here’s something wild: when two adults share a full-size bed, they each get about 27 inches of space. That’s actually narrower than a crib mattress (which is 28 inches wide). I recently bought a queen mattress, but I need help looking for a good sturdy bed frame. My budget is around $1300. I want a bed frame that is non-squeaky, that comes with a headboard, and if it comes with cabinets, that’s a bonus. There is an ocean of options, and I don't know where to start. I was looking into Thuma and Flexispot, but they have that whole Japanese assembly thing going on, and I saw a video where a Thuma bed frame was poorly built and loose, making it squeaky, thus defeating the whole point of it and that discouraged me from buying from them. I don’t want something too fancy but something that will last and looks simple. Preferably wood since I have had bad experiences with metal bed frames. Could you guys guide me in the right direction?

If squeakiness is the only thing wrong with a bed frame, that’s a simple fix. I made a frame out of 1x4 boards and when it got loose and started squeaking I loosened everything and put thin fabric strips between all the areas where two boards touched.
