Please help me with my current adhd obsession 😅 BEDDING.
I’m upgrading for the first time in my adult life. I need a duvet cover with matching pillow cases, and a fitted sheet. I’ve got a purple hybrid 3, and I have two bumper pillows on the sides for my toddler that sleeps in my bed. For those two reasons, I lean towards a jersey sheet with a lot of stretch, BUT, I am obsessing over moving towards a percale fitted sheet, with a linen or percale duvet cover. Anyone use percale on a purple?
Reasons for wanting linen: I love the cozy undone look. I am drawn to magic linen and piglet’s aesthetic, and they’re in my current budget. However if they’re not great quality for that price point, I’d choose a simple percale cover over those. I do like the feeling of a heavier duvet/ cover, and I know linen has an airy feel.
Should I go for the linen duvet cover? Save $50-$100 and get a plain percale one somewhere? I’m just so undecided which route to go. I just want my bed to feel and look like it’s sophisticated, cozy, and has natural/healthy fibers.
Also - I’m not exactly in a BIFL budget. I know there are some $400+ linen options, maybe in a year or two.
Hi everyone, I have been doing some research on upgrading my bedding (tired teacher here) and think I have narrowed it down to Magic Linen or Piglet in Bed. They both seem to be similarly priced and I have read good things but before I make a purchase does anyone have any last minute suggestions? I have looked at Quince, Citizenry (came really close to a purchase) and Brooklinen.
Thank you in advance.
Anybody have piglet in bed linen sheets? I’m tired of buying bed sheets all the time so I’ve been doing some research and on the surface linen sheets seem like the way to go, and Piglet in bed seems really high quality. Has anyone had them for an extended period of time and can speak to their durability/ quality? I found some older posts on the sub about it but sort of inconclusive about the actual brand. Thanks!
I’ve seen some Tik toks of people finding Piglet in Bed linens. I’ve only found California king size and twin. I was wondering if anyone has found Queen or full at there stores? It’s mostly been TJ maxx but I’m remaining hopeful someone has seen at Marshall’s!
I kinda want to buy some linen bed sheets. I heard a lot of good things about piglet in bed 100% linen sheets. I was thinking of maybe getting the whole set. As in the pillow cases, fitted sheet, and duvet cover. But it is a hefty cost. If any of you guys own linen sheets from piglet is it worth the cost. And does it last a long time. Is the fabric good or scratchy.
Hi there!
I don't often buy sheets and I'm currently wanting to go the linen route. I don't really have prior experience with linen sheets so I'd appreciate any feedback. I have narrowed it down to Piglet in Bed, In Bed, and Cultiver. Has anyone purchased these brands and have they lasted well? I love their colors and they're currently having a little sale. These brands are on the higher end of my budget and want to be sure before purchasing them.
I can't seem to find a lot of reviews on the brand "In Bed". Has anyone tried them?
For Cultiver, I've read that the Full/Queen sheets don't fit quite right - I have a 10" high queen mattress and was wondering if that would be an issue.
As for Piglet In bed, my understanding that a US Queen is equivalent to UK King? Has anyone had experience with sizing issues?
It's my first time buying proper linen sheets and would like to have a set that lasts a long time. It seems like most of these are stone washed but my understanding is that high quality linen starts on the rougher side? Does that mean stone wash is not as good? What GSM/thread count should I be looking for? What's the best way to maintain the sheets? I know it should be cold gentle washed and line dried - I live in an apartment in the city with no outdoor space so will need to figure out the drying situation (any tips are welcomed!). Thank you!
I shelled out $400 to buy a duvet cover and pillowcases from Piglet In Bed and it has been so disappointing. I know linen is supposed to be stiffer and not as soft as cotton at first, but I wasn't expecting it to feel like sandpaper on my skin.
For those who have bought Piglet In Bed linen products, do they really get softer over time or will they always feel a bit scratchy? I'm used to using cheap $30 microfiber bedding that has always felt buttery soft on my skin, but was trying to switch to more natural fibers like linen. TIA
Anyone know of a good dupe for this? I want a dark green gingham duvet set. Thank you for the help!
I haven’t shopped at either before. I am looking for twin size bedding in stripes, gingham, and solid colors. I do seem to like the variety these two have but seems like it’s a hit or miss.
i’m having a hard time picking between the two. i’ve been convinced to buy linen bedding - and i’m willing to spend the $$. I’m just not sure which to go with between the two, or if there’s other less expensive reputable options? I like the colors that piglet in bed offers more and have heard better things about it that quince, but it is definitely more expensive. Is it worth it??
Title says it all! Looking for a duvet insert that is fluffy yet cooling and this one intrigued me. I don’t see any reviews though!

I’ve been looking for bedsheets and want mid-toned pink shade made from high quality cotton material for under $300 full size. I found some from piglet in bed and the color is perfect but they feel really scratchy. I understand washing will make them softer but then I can’t return them. Does anyone have experience with piglet in bed percale ? Is it worth washing to see how soft they will get or should I just buy a boring color in a more traditional brand?
I want to share my comparison of these three brands.
Most Positive: Lenok Linen
A few weeks for shipping but fully worth it. I bought 100% linen pillow cases from them. Colors on website is mostly accurate, and we ordered color swatches beforehand to be sure. threads are thick, not rough but not soft, and hold up well washing. Although I would like to note these AND Quince have been washed less then 10 times. Linen is naturally wrinkly but this actually is very subtle.
I will only buy from LenokLinen for genuine, high-quality linen.
Cheapest: Quince
Ordered a complete linen sheet and pillow set from them. I am happy with the color and price, but you get what you paid for. The linen is thin, and soft. The fitted sheet is loose yet somehow ripped within the 8 months I've owned it. I have not contacted for a replacement. The flat sheet is better quality, but somehow more wrinkly than the fitted sheet. Pillow cases are thin like the fitted sheets.
I also ordered a quiltlette which I love! It's fraying with daily use but has only been washed twice.
Negative: Piglet in Bed
I ordered an organic cotton/ linen duvet cover. Upon arrival it had no Oeko-tex tag. I contacted Oeko-tex and they have determined it is a fraud and not to use it if Oeko-tex is important to my household (it is). I wasn't able to receive a refund initially from Piglet in Bed's questionnaire due it the fact it was opened/used, but after contacting support they issued a full refund.
If anyone has any questions, or want photos (or screenshots from Oeko-tex support) let me know!
So I only like to sleep on linen bedsheets. About 2.5 years ago I bought two sets of linen bedsheets from Lands End. They both now have holes in the fitted sheets. I’m so annoyed. I spent about $400 for my two sets … which works out to about $3.85 per week.
What linen sheets do you recommend that lasts well over 2 years? I am willing to save money to buy them if they are very expensive but last extremely long.
Hello! I would really like to get some linen bedding. I like the texture and natural look of it and the colors it tends to come in. Everywhere I look seems to say the same things about their linen, but I know there are different qualities and I want to make sure I'm getting something good. There are a lot of etsy shops selling linen bedding. The shops have good reviews and the comments often say the sellers answer all of their questions promptly, so I'm thinking Etsy may be a good place to order just because I can ask about the product. What questions should I ask (and what would be the answers) to make sure I'm getting a good quality?
Whenever I see people discuss bedding, the thread count comes up, but I very rarely see thread count listed on any bedding websites. Does the thread count matter with linen or is that only for cotton sheets? I know nothing! And I'd love your input. Thanks!
i saw this video show up on my feed and i’m curious where i can find something like it for a decent price i really like how the duvet looks but im not a fan of the color of the sheets im looking for something more neutral if anybody know where there from or something similar that isnt going to break the bank please let me know.
