I have chronic lower back pain waking up on a firm Sealy Posturepedic mattress. I also tried a casper once upon a time that didn’t work. It really turned me off to foam mattresses at the time. I think I need a medium firm mattress.
Anyway, I need a change. I have tried toppers, and various other beds.
There are a few on sale at Costco:
Beautyrest 14.5" Silver Hybrid DualCool Plush Mattress
Sleep Science 14" Copper Infused Firm Memory Foam Mattress (firm)
Novaform 14" Serafina Pearl Gel Memory Foam Mattress (plush, medium, and firm)
Also not on sale but there is sterns and foster medium mattress available.
Anyone try these models or brands before?
Thanks!!!!
We bought the current bed last year when we moved in together. It was $250 on Amazon, and we intended to use it forever. It's a foam mattress and isn't bad. A little on the stiffer side. We went into Costco the other day and saw they had a deal on a queen mattress for $400. It's half spring half foam as advertised. We sat on it and it felt pretty nice. Way nicer than our current bed imo. The only thing stopping me from buying this mattress, is the fact that we JUST bought our current mattress last year. I know we spend 1/3 of our lives in bed so having a comfy bed and comfy sleep is important to me. Again our current bed isn't too bad, but I think I just taught myself to accept it. This Costco bed feels like my ideal bed that I originally wanted (we blindly bought our mattress from Amazon without knowing how it actually felt before we purchased it. Decided to keep it because we didn't know how to return a mattress via Amazon lol). Is it justifiable to get this new bed?
Been mattress shopping for a few weeks now and its brutal. One person gives a mattress 5 stars, best sleep ever, and the next person says its garbage and the worst mattress they've ever tried.
So rather than risk it with a super-expensive mattress, I'm going to go the Costco route. Looks like there are a lot of options from Leesa to Casper to Simply Modern to whatever else.
Out of all the options at costco, I'm wondering what the best choice is? Let's say $1600 or less...
I'm leaning toward the Leesa Legend Hybrid or Casper. Would loooove some help here! I'm so nervous about making the wrong call!
I'm interested in an adjustable bed frame with the main priorities being warranty, customer service, and ease of installation. Costco has an adjustable bed frame that is about half price as competitors but besides the costco website reviews (which are highly positive and do not seem fake) i cant find much out there. I dont think those snazzy ratings review websites are given free merchandise or affiliate comissions by costco so they probably just dont bother.
Pros:
-cheap ($800 for King)
-10 year warranty
-With costco you can return anything for any reason reason at all, and usually reach a human by phone fairly easily
Cons:
-Simple feature set
-King is actually a split king that is joined together
Can anyone comment if having a split king that is joined together is bad somehow? It has a bar/cable system that connects the two sides. Or all they all like this under the hood? My mattress is not a split.
