How do I pair Bose QuietComfort Headphones with my mobile device?

I have a Bose 700 and wouldn’t trade it for the narrower ear pieces of the ultra. Reviews say the mic on the 700 is best for calls and I’ve had no complaints. Can still be found for around $280 on eBay new in box. More on reddit.com

Know it’s an old thread, but thought I would drop here that I got a refurbished pair for around $130 in November 2023. Was priced at $159, used a 10% off code from honey, then honey gave me an additional $15.00 cash back.

I prioritize comfort and noise canceling the most. I've heard Bose is much better than Sony in terms of comfort. Therefore I've excluded Sony, even though they excell in sound quality.
So I'm torn between Ultra and 45. I've seen many article saying that Ultra aren't that great compared to price. Is this true? I would appreciate hearing your thoughts.

The Ultra will have better sound quality and better ANC than the QC45, and comparable comfort. It difficult to assess whether the additional cost is worth it to you or not. I have had the QC35 II and QC45 before the Ultra.
