Everything I’ve ordered from them has come from overseas and takes a few weeks. I am pretty sure they contract directly with the factories and then it’s made/shipped. Haven’t tried their bedding, but the clothes and towels I’ve ordered from them are fabulous. About to order more towels, actually, since the ones for my son’s bathroom were so nice. My sister has a comforter cover from them that she loves. Answer from formal_mumu on reddit.com

Just wondering how legit Quince is. I ordered something for the first time and it seemed like it was in stock according to the website but it took 2.5 weeks just to get the order processed (with a request into customer service) and now that it’s shipped, according to the tracking it’s stuck somewhere in India. Not sure if my experience is a one off?

Edit: thanks everyone for the reassurance! I didn’t realise Quince ships from India, so all good. Is the refund process easy?

If you’re on this side of Reddit you’re probably always in search of anything closest to being the best bedding you could buy. After using a bunch of high end name brands, I have to say I have settled with quince. Their bamboo sheets are AMAZING. I recommend 10/10/10. Just thought I’d share!! I also like the fact that you could purchase it without the flat sheet, I never use a flat sheet. Shipping was also quick, I’ve been sleeping on quince! (Pun intended)

The Best Linen Bedsheets 2025 | The Strategist
3 weeks ago - As mentioned above, some brands, like the Company Store, known for its long-lasting bedding basics, sell their linen sheets by the piece. That means you can start with a fitted sheet, as Pariso did, and go from there. She discovered that they were heftier than any of the other brands she tried, including Quince and Parachute.

After my linen sheets from Parachute have torn after just a year of use I am on the hunt for some more linen sheets. Since I’ve been looking at my Instagram feed has been filled with nothing but ads for linen sheets now. Quince keeps popping up as a cheaper option. Has anyone tried their sheets? Wondering if there are more on the rough scratchy side of linen.

I realize this post is a year old but I wanted to share my experience with Quince linen sheets. I received a set of sheets for my birthday in Oct. 2021. I washed them in cool water and used the Quince lambs wool balls in my dryer. Initially I washed them 2 - 3x a month to soften the fibers a bit and then only 2x a month. In May 2022, I noticed a small hole about 1/4" in diameter in the fitted sheet on the side that I do not sleep on. I was surprised to find it, it was almost perfectly round. I contacted Quince for a replacement and they sent me a whole new set (I only asked for a fitted sheet). I was surprised and very pleased. I have not opened the new set, I was planning to mend the hole in the fitted sheet by making a small patch out of the linen bag the sheets were packed in when they arrived.

But I procrastinate so I hadn't gotten around to it yet. Last night when I got in bed, my heel went through the fitted sheet on the side where I do sleep. When I looked closely, I could see the sheet was worn away in that area and is about as thin as tissue paper. The hole is about 3" x 4".

Now, I have a brand new set that I can wash and use but it only took about 6 months for the first hole to appear and a year for the fitted sheet to wear away in that one spot. Obviously these sheets are lower priced than most linen sheets but I am disappointed with the quality after a year. Overall I think they're a decent value when you look at the cost but I did expect them to last more than a year. Again, this is only the fitted sheet, the top sheet and pillow cases are in perfect condition.

I was checking them out yesterday but went with The Company Store instead. In the reviews that I read it mentioned that the Quince linen set was soft. It was really hard to find reviews that didn’t smack of affiliate marketing though.

r/Bedding on Reddit: Quince European linen sheets in terracotta losing colour
May 16, 2024 -

I bought the European linen sheet set from Quince in terracotta colour.

https://www.quince.com/home/sheets/linen-sheet-set

They’ve been through 1 wash where I used the gentle cycle and tumble dried on low heat, and 2 weeks of use.

I already see these weird discolourations on my pillow cases and sheets. Is this normal? Is this a defect? Should I call Quince and return/ask for a replacement?

Are there any brands that sell linen sheets that are more reliable in terms of wear and colour hold?

This is my first time buying linen since I sleep very hot. But I’m not sure what to expect with linen as a fabric. I’m comparing it with the $30 cotton blend sheet set I got from Target which has lasted just fine for the last 2 years.

r/Bedding on Reddit: Swapped my Quince linen sheets for some Rough Linen
July 22, 2025 -

This is more just initial impressions as I havent used them long enough to review the durability.

For the Quince I purchased them knowing some people had quality complaints, but I figured if I had issues Id just get them replaced as Id read their customer service is good. Right away I had an issue as they sent me the wrong size, and customer service did work with me to replace it. My main issue with their sheet has first been that it never stops shedding. People online give the advice that the shedding will slow down, after several months and many washes it never did. To be clean I washed on perm press, cold water, and mostly hang dryed. Towards the end I tumble dryed low for 15min, hang for few hours, then 5 mins no heat to grab some of the lint. You could see thin patches starting to develop as well so I figured I didn't have long before I'd start seeing holes, and decided I need a better quality sheet.

The rough linen was $170 vs $100, but right away you can feel the weight difference as they feel like they weight twice as much. They did produce a decent amount of lint on first wash, so time will tell if that reduces or if I continue to find lint all over my bedroom like with the Quince. On feel maybe its slightly rougher, to me it just feels like linen, none of its especially soft even after many washes. Ive just grown to like that feel. Then you just can't beat linen on moisture wicking. This is the first summer where no matter how warm it is outside I always wake up feeling completely dry. I honestly think its moisture wicking ability is its biggest selling point, and its breathability is really good as well.

So just thought Id share for people considering either brand. I'll try to post a durability update after some months.

r/Bedding on Reddit: Beware Quince bamboo sheets
March 2, 2025 -

After seeing thousands of 5 star reviews on Quince for their bamboo sheets, I bought a set in November. The first time I used them I liked them a lot. After about 6 total weeks of use and 3 washings, they are all pilled up and uncomfortable. The worst sheets I've ever had. So I left a 1 star review. Within an hour, I received an email from Quince customer service apologizing and offering either a refund or replacement sheets. Since they were such poor quality, I opted for the refund, which happened right away. So that's good customer service. However, they do not publish my review. So it seems like they are selling some poor quality product and making sure no one posts about it. Happy to have the refund but not happy they are squashing real info. I don't know if all those 5 star reviews are real, or if people are posting after only a night or two on those sheets.

May 26, 2025 -

I’d like to return a quilt set and sheets bc the quality seems meh. The website clearly states that bedding can be returned after being washed, so I washed/dryed a sham to see how that would impact quality. However, when starting the return, it says they do NOT accept items that have been washed, and it’s noticeable bc it shrunk.

Anyone have experience with this?

r/quince on Reddit: Bad experience with quince european linen bedding
3 weeks ago -

About a month and a half ago, my friend recommended I try the Quince European linen bedding. I checked TikTok and the reviews on Quince’s own site, and everything looked really positive. Quince seemed pretty popular, so I decided to buy it.

After that, I came on Reddit to see what people were saying, and that’s when I saw a lot of posts about quality issues and bad experiences with Quince bedding. But by then I had already ordered, so I just figured I’d give it a chance and see for myself, since TikTok and Quince’s site were so positive but Reddit was not.

When everything came, I was excited. It looked nice and felt nice at first. But after using it for about a month (and honestly in the first 1–2 weeks), I started seeing the same problems people talked about on here: • A lot of pilling • Loose threads poking out and messy stitching on the pillowcases, sheets, and duvet cover • Tiny holes in some spots (on one pillowcase, if you put your hand inside, you can see your skin through the fabric)

Everything I bought was from Quince, not mixed with any other brand.

I definitely regret buying it and wouldn’t recommend it. I was really excited for this set, so it’s pretty disappointing.

Quince does have a 365-day return policy, and I’ve seen other people say that when they had the same kind of quality issues as me (holes, bad stitching, etc.), they were able to get either a full refund or a brand new set even months later, sometimes close to a year after buying. So for now I’m just going to get as much use out of mine as I can, and then I’ll probably reach out to customer service and see if I can do the same thing (either an exchange for a new set or a full refund).

Rating: 3–4/10.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with Quince linen or other linen brands? This is my first time trying linen bedding, so I’m not sure if I just picked the wrong brand, or if this is more of a linen material problem in general.

r/Bedding on Reddit: Linen Sheets & Duvet Cover - Quince vs. Magic Linen vs. Pottery Barn vs. Cultiver vs. Rough Linen vs. Coyuchi
September 25, 2025 -

I'm looking to upgrade our bedding and buy our first set of linen sheets, however, there are lots of conflicting reviews online and in this subreddit regarding quality, softness, durability, etc.

These are the brands I've been looking at and I think I've narrowed it down to either Quince ($) or Cultiver ($$$). I'm normally a buy-once, cry-once kind of guy that doesn't mind paying more for premium and/or longer-lasting products but are the Cultiver sheets really worth 3x the price of Quince?

FWIW I plan to splurge and buy our new comforter and pillows from Feathered Friends. It feels like a mismatch to spend ~$1,400 on down bedding and then cheap out on the linens. Our mattress is an Avocado Green Mattress with the added pillow-top option that we bought back in 2019. We absolutely love it and it's still going strong 6 years later.

BrandPrice
Quince$330
Magic Linen$603
Pottery Barn$668
Cultiver$990
Rough Linen$1,123
Coyuchi$1,246

*Prices shown are for a California king fitted sheet + flat sheet + (2) pillow cases + duvet cover

r/NYCbitcheswithtaste on Reddit: Local Options for Bedding, Alternatives to Quince? Does Brooklinen Compare?
August 3, 2025 -

Trying to get us to buy more locally and less online!

We need new sheets, duvet, duvet covers, pillow cases. I was thinking of trying Quince, but if there's a brand with comparable quality, style, price range, and colors that has a location on the ground, preferably in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, or the Bronx, then that would be ideal! Any suggestions?

I'd be open a combo if I can't find the color scheme + quality I'm looking for, etc. I'm thinking of redecorating our bedroom around a muted green (sage, olive green) and terracotta color scheme. Brooklinen has a similarly branded "European washed linen" in a compatible green shade, but no terracotta, for example. Debating which color I want for the duvet color and some of the pillows vs. sheets. Either is fine, but they're slightly different vibes. Earthy and tranquil, could lead into a slightly adult bohemian look, but one is muted, cool and the other warm. Just side notes on what I'm looking for.

r/Bedding on Reddit: My impression of Quince's bamboo bedding set after 10 days of use and 2 washes
January 11, 2025 -

I requested this as a Christmas gift. I received the full bundle as follows: Fitted sheet, flat sheet, duvet cover, 2 sham pillowcases (which are really standard size pillow cases) and 4 queen sized pillowcases because we made the mistake of adding on an extra set of pillowcases not realizing they already came with the sheet set. It did not occur to me that there were 4 items in the sheet set photo and it's not detailed very well on the product page for the bundle and save. Anyway, no big deal, we just have an extra set. Here are some photos, the first after the first wash and the second after the second wash 10 days later.

Positives: Way more affordable than other brands (maybe at the cost of sustainability though the verdict is out on whether bamboo is actually sustainable - I just really wanted soft sheets). They are extremely soft and not too warm to sleep with (perfect for me who has sensitive skin and sleeps cold and my boyfriend who sleeps hot). The color of the fabric is as pictured online. I have the sheets and pillow cases in the light gray color and the duvet cover and sham pillowcases in the olive green color. It looks and feels nicer than the crappy cotton bedding I've bought from Simon's and Ikea here in Canada (Simon's being particularly overpriced), and nicer than the bamboo pillowcases I've bought from Linen Chest, which were decent, but not quite as soft. Note that Quince does not ship to Canada, I had my parents order this for me in the US since we were visiting for the holidays.

I washed these before first use less than 2 weeks ago. Washed according to the label, cold water, gentle cycle, separate from any other material. I also washed the olive duvet and pillowcases separate from the gray sheet set to avoid any colors bleeding. Before first wash they felt almost satiny and I was skeptical, but they came out like butter.

I wouldn't fault Quince for this as it is likely just bamboo in general, but it is very slippery. The top right corner of the fitted sheet comes off every single night, a problem I've never had with other sheets. Not a deal-breaker, we can just use clips. We had to get a new, larger duvet insert since the duvet is full/queen and our duvet was full size. I love having a bigger duvet now, but the heaviness of the larger blanket it being oversized for our bed, and the slipperiness of bamboo means the blanket is sometimes falling off the end of the bed and can get annoying. Again, not a dealbreaker for me. One thing to note is that when looking for duvet inserts, I found that duvet sizes are wildly inconsistent between Simon's, Linen Chest, and Ikea, but found one that fit the duvet cover (was the same length but bigger by 2 inches on each side, which I don't mind. Maybe comforters/duvets in the US have a standard size that would fit this.

What is very disappointing, however, is the quality, even at this lower price point. I already started noticing faint discoloration on the light gray sheets (some faint whiter areas), particularly toward the top of the sheets where we are laying or sitting up in bed. Noticed this before the first wash. In addition, there are some pulls (presumably from our toenails) on the bottom of the sheet. This is a relatively delicate fabric. After the second wash today, I was really disappointed to see the beginning of some faint pilling on the duvet cover and sheets. We've washed them exactly according to the instructions and have been pretty gentle with the bedding so far. Finally, and this is the most disappointing thing for me, is the dark splotches that have appeared on the olive pillowcases (the ones we've mostly used for sleeping). I assume it was caused by drooling or oils in our hair, but I've never seen a pillowcase get discolored like this, let alone after less than two weeks of use. I'm so upset that it is already aging like this.

All that being said, they are still incredibly comfortable to sleep with, but I would potentially update my review over time if the quality deteriorates more. They feel luxurious and the quality issues I mentioned here aren't particularly visible at this point. I don't think they are a bad purchase persay and as of now would still recommend them if you really want bamboo and have a lower budget, but even with how delicate bamboo can be, I'm a little disappointed after being so excited a few weeks ago (mainly because I have so much trouble deciding to buy things because everything seems to be made like crap in the last couple years and I prefer to invest in nicer quality when I can).
