Why do Trak Racer products appear to be a little more expensive than other simulator products?

So I'm looking to build a racing cockpit that moves the seat, steering wheel, and pedals to simulate the motion in a car.

Basically the only differences I have are that I need it to be able to be somewhat dissassemble-able(enough to fit through a door), I will be using an Oculus Rift instead of monitors, and I will be mounting the pedals from the top so that they are more realistic.

I plan on documenting the process as much as possible and laying it all out is a website or something. I want to make it as easy as possible for others to be able to make one for themselves, providing links to all necessary parts and such. I will most likely provide at least one status update post in here. One when it is done at least.

I came across racing simulator with hydraulics when looking at some items for my online toy store on Alibaba, and it seemed interesting. It's basically a full racing simulator with hydraulic motion, and it has a seat and frame.
It's the kind of thing you would see at a arcade or play area for kids. The chair will simulate the turns and bumps and acceleration of real driving. I know hardcore sim drivers would love playing this kind of thing and I have seen it at arcades before. They cost anywhere from a few thousand dollars to well over 10k depending upon the motion and system and quality.
They look like a lot of fun and probably great for arcades that are serious about sim racing and esport events. But I wonder how hard it is to sell these and how realistic is it to actually move a product like this if one is targeting businesses and arcades.
I also wanted to know about the software compatibility aspect of this, like will the system support popular racing platforms like PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and VR systems? I know flexibility will make it easier to find buyers, so it should be compatible with most sim racing peripherals like Fanatec, Logitech, and Thursmaster. Also having preconfigured settings for popular games ensures smoother performance, anything else I am missing?
