Radeon-profile not working
I've been using CoreCTRL from the AUR, no issues with that. Don't think it has as many features as radeon-profile though. More on reddit.com

First off, love the new UI changes ... had with Arch linux (maybe others?) I quit using it a few months back before I was having to run as root just to get the full info panel with the daemon, but I reinstalled last night and it worked perfectly without any tweaking (daemon and profile). So, thanks! Now I'm wondering if there's any hope of being able to change the tray and/or system icon for radeon-profi... More on phoronix.com
[RX 6900XT] No sensor data
Hey guys, got a little problem with my GPU sensors on my RX 6900XT. For whatever reason I cannot seem to get any data out of them. I tried to go for radeon-profile and CoreCtrl. r/archlinux on Reddit: Radeon-profile not working
October 7, 2020 -
I've already asked in the github, but no reply
Been using radeon-profile for months, to downvolt / downclock my RX 580, issue is after updating to latest version, these settings do not apply anymore
I am really not sure what is causing the issue, reverting to previous version seems to fix it
Any idea on what could be causing the issue?
Developer helped me, fixed by this https://github.com/marazmista/radeon-profile/commit/cb3f047e56901b1c5a7907617be33e17d0be538c

The same thing happened to me. It was working about a week or two ago, but now it doesn't work at all. Submitting an issue through Github didn't really do anything either. I mainly use radeon-profile for fan tracking (have an older GPU). Hopefully, it's fixed soon!

May 20, 2017 - It's very superficial, I know, but I've spent way too much time getting Arch and Cinnamon setup over the last several months to give up on a single icon now. Anything that works for Gnome should work here on Cinnamon: Kernel: 4.12.3-1-ARCH x86_64 (64 bit) Desktop: Cinnamon 3.4.4 Distro: Arch Linux radeon-profile version 20170714 built from AUR (git source).

adjust radeon power profile settings / Kernel & Hardware / Arch Linux Forums
February 5, 2016 - I am running arch linux on my laptop with a ati graphic card (x700 which is a R4xx). I am using the power profile method to control my graphic card (dpm is not available for the R4xx and I havent tried dynpm yet). The problem is, in the high power profile, the laptop overheats after about 5mins. Mid works fine. So I had a look at the clock speeds: [root]# echo high > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_profile [root]# cat /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/radeon...
