Preventing Snow in snowbiomes?
I don't have an answer, but I have a pretty funny story, and I thought this would be the right place to share it. A few weeks ago, I set up Sky Factory 4 and began playing it. I know that my wife is scared to death of building down in sky worlds using a water elevator, so right before I did it, I called her over to watch. I knew she would be impressed. Well, I forgot that I was in an ice plains biome. I had just said "See, there's no real danger of falling in the void" when suddenly my water source froze. So there I am, flopping around in the top of the receding water pillar, and my wife is laughing away, haha. It turns out that SF4 has that mod that lets you warp from the bottom level back to the top, so you don't actually fall in the void and lose all your stuff. So, it wasn't tragic. It was still rather funny. More on reddit.com

Are there any options in FTB Revelation 1.12 to prevent snow from falling on your stuff? (rituals or other special blocks, I don't want to build a giant glass plane above my house, especcially because im not sure how that interacts with astral sorcery)

The mod Random Things has an item called Rain Shield. It stops rain usually, but also stops snow as well in a pretty large radius. You can also disable it with a redstone signal. Edit: looking at the wiki, it says 5 chunk radius. You can change it in the config to be smaller (or larger) if you want. They are pretty cheap to make.

Does this pack have a way to prevent snow accumulation besides just putting tacky lights everywhere? I am using the Random Things Rain Shield which prevents the animation of snow but snow still accumulates.
