If the ⚒ Use / Attack key is released mid-drag, the missile will be fired in that direction. If the cursor is stationary on release, it is fired directly away from the player. Once it is released, the missile homes in on nearby enemies and can pierce twice, creating a small explosion upon contact with a block or third enemy. The missile does not dissipate when touching a block while being controlled, and is not affected by liquids (unlike the Flamelash).

February 22, 2023 - Since the rainbow travels over 70 tiles a second, it may be that the hit detection is also spaced out, such that a dummy can stand between two hit detection zones and not be affected. Since they don't move, they won't move into a hit detection zone like regular enemies would. It's also known that if you have a very large number of Target Dummies in the world, they stop working correctly.

I recently started a new playthrough and decided to go ranger this time, everything was going smoothly untill i noticed that my newly aquired magna cannon was not dealing damage to enemies. I've already tried to restart the game, i even crafted a new cannon, but nothing seems to work so far. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
