Connector Board for Raspberry Pi 4 & 5 (Open Source)
Awesome! The port distribution on every side of the Raspberry Pi is one of the worst legacies from version 1. I hope one day they decide to change the way you repurpose. More on reddit.com

How to access GPIO on a PI 4 when using a PiHat that covers all 40 GPIO pins
You may find the board on Pinout.xyz as Seeed are often weak on documentation for anything but their 'Grove' system. If it has a free Grove connector you do have I2C access through that. If you are feeling skilled enough you can alway solder to the reverse of the Pi but a short can leave you with a dead PI or no working GPIO pins... One of the most useful boards I have found is the HAT Hacker - even though it has 'Pico' in the name it is actually for the Linux Pi boards not the Microcontroller (wish they would rename the darn thing TBH). You just have to be careful soldering it to the pins (too much and HATs do not sit down) Or you can use a long pin header and slot that onto the Pi pins and put the hacker on to them - bit tall for my liking though. Raspberry PI 4 PWM?
On the Pi 4B and 400 (and CM4) you have two pairs of PWM channels. Those are: PWM0_0 available on GPIO 12, 18 or 52. PWM0_1 available on GPIO 13, 19, 45 or 53 PWM1_0 available on GPIO 40 PWM1_1 available on GPIO 41 Only GPIOs 12, 13, 18 and 19 are brought out to the 40-pin header. So you really only have two PWMs usable More on reddit.com

Fri Jul 03, 2020 2:43 pm Yes, you can still power the Raspberry Pi 4 from pins on the GPIO header. Supply a well-regulated 5V to pins 2 and 4, and ground to pin 6. Be very careful, however not to accidentally apply 5V to any of the other pins, as the I/Os are intended for 3.3V operation.
