I am attempting to show a friend synapse and chroma so he can see the software from my screen. Though synapse is working chroma is not. I have tried updating (wont update), I've tried reinstalling (reinstalling didn't fix the issue). It just says update failed after trying after a few seconds. I haven't done anything different to my pc or the software, nothing new or unusual.
PLEASE GOD HELP!
Though I will say that axon is pretty cool!

Anyone else having problems with the chroma app updating?
Mine started to update itself about an hour ago, and it’s stuck at the “updating” screen since.
Synapse also got an update, and that was done in a min.

Yeah, many are facing the same or similar issues as you are due to their bs software of upgrading to synapse 4. There is NO fix as Razer themselves need to seriously investigate and release a damn fix.

Sometimes the only way I have found to fix these issues is to completely uninstall Razer Synapse using "BC Uninstaller"(BullCrap Uninstaller) This will remove any leftover files from chroma, synapse, Axon, cortex, etc Using "Driver Store Explorer" to force delete all Razer and THX drivers from your pc Then using "Revo Registry Cleaner" to clear out any leftover useless Registry keys left behind by any Razer apps and drivers. IT'S HONESTLY SO FUCKING STUPID HOW MUCH EFFORT ONE HAS TO PUT IN TO GET THINGS TO WORK. You can also try going into the windows Settings > Installed apps Looking for Razer Synapse clicking on the three dots to the right. Clicking Modify/uninstall whichever one honestly. It'll open up the Razer Uninstaller. From there you can update/repair the apps. Sometimes this fixes the issue Edit: If you decide to go the long route and do a complete uninstall/cleanse as stated above; unplug any and all Razer Hardware. Use a generic mouse and keyboard if you're on a desktop. Don't plug stuff back in until you've cleaned>rebooted>installed synapse After plugging all your hardware back in and rebooting (x) amount of times from every device it ask for you to do that. Check for driver updates via Windows Update. Some devices won't work until after you grab a driver from the windows update Good luck man... Try not to punch a hole into the PC... It will be very tempting

I'm trying to setup my Razer Kraken USB but Synapse is stuck on "Updating from Razer Synapse". This is after a clean reinstall of Synapse, running as admin and excluding it from any protection on my PC.
Does anyone know how long it's actually supposed to take? And maybe a solution to the problem?
EDIT: I'm on Windows 10, if it makes a difference.

This happened to me a while ago. When this happened, I had to manually kill synapse via task manager. After that I launched it again and it ran the update successfully. Should only take a few mins at most (depending on the speed of your computer). If that doesn't work, reach out to Razer Support. Link is on the right side of this page. Their live chat option is very fast.

I was going to change my computer's RGB lighting, and I open Razer Chroma and this is the screen I get:
Razer Chroma program. Clicking the 'RETRY' button attempts to reload the program but it fails. Razer Synapse program. Everything works completely fine.I tried doing a repair, uninstalling and installing and nothing fixed the issue. Razer Synapse works just fine. I also went to the Razer support page, but there was nothing about the 'Failed to start' issue.
How can I fix this issue (without reinstalling Windows)?

I think I found a solution, at least it worked for me. I went into control panel and wanted to uninstall chroma but razer app popped up and it asked me if I want to repair their apps or just to delete them. So I did in exactly in that order: Uninstalled chroma app Repaired Razer Synapse Installed chroma app again, but no through the instalator downloaded before but just through the same pop-up I did uninstalling and repairing with and it somehow worked

Ever since the new upgrade, whenever I turn on my PC, my Chroma Studio colors do not display as desired. When I open Chroma, it looks like they should, but they don't. My keyboard is lit up, but none of my other LEDs are lit.
The fix is: Open Synapse, Go to the RGB controller, then go to the Lighting tab, and turn the brightness off and back on again. As soon as I do that, it looks exactly like it should.
I hope they fix this in an update soon.

Well, looks like I am screwed. Just built a PC with the controller and checking if anyone has the same problem. Synapse 4 = bug with RGB controller Synapse 3 = no support for Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% xD
