How do I use the razer chroma studio?
Tutorial/Guide to making your own Chroma profiles for games?
Go into Synapse, and then into the "Chroma" tab on top. That's the Chroma Studio, from where you can create more advanced lightning profiles that affect all devices in your setup and with many more effects available.
Once you're done with that, go into "Profiles" tab, Games, and from there add the game. Once added, click on the game, and select "Chroma" as the device to sync with it.
Once Chroma is selected as the device linked to it, specify the profile you made in the Chroma Studio.

It was working before with opera installed, but now it's not letting me use it even though I turned it of in chroma apps (see both pictures) pls help.
Hi everyone, I've just got a Blackwidow V2 and a Lancehead TE, and just installed synapse 3. I've really like the build in Overwatch profile with all the colors and cooldowns etc. and would now like to have a profile for Heroes of the Storm, too!
As I've only found very old profiles that I couldn't import, and doubt I'll find someone who can share his HotS profile, I'd like to request help in form of a tutorial or guide on how to make your own profile for games, with similar functionalities as the Overwatch profile.
I'd appreciate any help. :)
Well, being in the Razer family for a month went smooth and joyful. Until now.
I have a Blade 15 (2019), which I bought like a month ago. I've set up my Chroma lighting on the keyboard with just a simple static effect and some different coloring for a couple of keys. Not even using different layouts for games, etc...
Last night, I was playing around with Chroma Studio when I selected the left 'alt' key and cleared it's effects. After that I am unable now to set any colors or effects on the that specific key.
'alt' stays black no matter what even when the settings say it should be greenThe interesting thing is that the lighting on the key works when:
I change the system to use quick effects instead of advanced Chroma lighting
Create a new Chroma effect and leaving it on default not changing anything
Stop Synapse 3
So it looks like Synapse 3 managed to screw the key up somehow.
I tried to:
delete account settings and restart Synapse 3
reinstall Synapse 3
running offline and force it to recreate new account and profile settings
restart system
praying to the Razer gods and offering blood sacrifice
Did anyone have similar issues with Synapse 3 at some point?
It is pretty annoying when you have these kind of small issues with a system which costs over 2K.
And the most annoying thing is, that you don't have any access to the profiles stored in the cloud. There is now way (or at least I haven't found any) to delete settings and effect, or reset them in any way. As soon as you get online Synapse 3 will download your settings.
And thinking about I just ordered a second one of this laptop for my wife to game together on the same day.
Regret kicks in on 3.. 2.. 1..
