Saw a good offer of the Razer Huntsman mini with red switches. Unfortunately I didn’t find much about the red ones on the internet. Mor about green, yellow or orange. Are the reds also optical?

As someone who really loves keyboards and first mechanical keyboard was a Huntsman— if you have the time to do some basic research and custom build a budget keyboard, you’ll be so much happier and it’ll feel so much more quality
Razer Huntsman Mini Problems (Linear Red Switches) - 4 Weeks of Use
UPDATE: So I've plugged my keyboard into my cousin's laptop and it was working perfectly fine. Function key is works and there the keys are working just fine. No 'multi' key issue and no late response. To fix my issue, I quit Razer Synapse 3 and tried to download Huntsman Mini Drivers for an update. I've also gone to Device Manager and had it 'Search for Device Changes'. But once I started Razer Synapse again, the problem with the 'Function' Key came back. In conclusion, there is a driver issue with my computer and I've may have tied it to Razer Synapse 3. Sign in and sign out of Razer Synapse then the function keys will start working again. So at the end of the day, don't use Razer Synapse. More on reddit.com

August 16, 2020Red or Purple switches Huntsman TKL V2. ?
Linear is better for gaming, clicky is better for typing. On a linear you might accidentally press some keys you didn’t mean to while typing since it’s so easy and there’s no bump to even let you know you just typed a letter in. On a clicky, the bumps can get annoying when trying to do really fast keypresses like let’s say strafing left and right in a shooter to avoid getting shot. So I’d say determine which is more important to you in the long run. Keep in mind if you’re mainly playing like RPG’s or single player games (or you don’t really care about being competitive) you don’t really need the advantage linear switches give you. Oh and also linear is silent while clicky is loud. If you’re unsure whether the loudness would bother you I’d recommend heading to a Best Buy or Walmart, they almost always have them on display to type on. Also I don’t know anything about the Naha or Naga x lol but if I had an old viper I would definitely upgrade to a newer viper, so I guess I would say upgrade More on reddit.com
