We picked up this sectional just after black Friday. Amazing! Best couch we've ever owned in 20 years of owning our homes. Super comfy and incredibly soft. We are very happy with it. We got the 6 piece sectional (2 end recliners, 1 armless recliner, corner, and 2 armless sections) and then separate non recliner ends and an ottoman to setup as a separate couch. Quality is outstanding and the customer service for Living Spaces has been great - we are about 100 miles from the newest store and delivery was right on time (in snow to boot). Paid a little extra for inside delivery but it was minimal and worth not lugging them down out long entry. Will see how well they last but the quality definitely seems there. More on reddit.com

You can do far better than this with a little bit of research. Also, pick a smaller but solid sectional with chaise or a larger ottoman instead of mechanical recliners which will break, or raise your budget; you're not going to get this massive a sectional of BIFL quality for less than $9,000. This sofa while it looks like a great deal isn't really BIFL material... not only do mechanical recliners tend to break, but the materials in question (what kind of fabric furniture gets damaged from water??) also wouldn't last. Also, it's modular, not a true sectional, and there's some assembly required (any assembly at all shouldn't ... anything that bolts together can fall apart) for the peanut butter cup-sized stubs that are supposed to be feet. Modulars also have a tendency to separate. Sectionals will have braces too, but one brace point for two pieces with sturdy suspension is a lot more stable than having every seat held together by braces. More on reddit.com

4 years ago we paid about $2500 for a Flexsteel leather dual power recliner and mostly so far so good. That was during a "50% off" sale and it is only a 3 person couch with recliners on the end. Furniture stores inflate pricing so much so they can have those sales. We prices checked our particular model amongst a few local stores and the 50% off price seemed about the going rate during various sales, I held out for the company that would deliver for free. I say mostly good because we did have some issues with one of the mechanics in it, but it was repaired under warranty by the furniture store we purchaed it from (a small local place). I cannot vouch for quality of furniture overall since we rarely have had new/modern pieces but the Flexsteel has been ok. We bought a new sectional (non recliner) from a furniture chain store once and it was the biggest piece of trash and broke in a year. More on reddit.com
