As the title suggests, when I try to move from my main acc to anonymous browsing, I get a very brief losing sign and then the screen is just black. No error message or anything, just pure black screen. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, clearing the cache, and restarting my phone, but none of these have worked. Any suggestions?
My (unfounded) suspicion is that there was a recent update that broke anon. browsing but idk, it’s just pure speculation.
Just gives the option to log out...
Resolved, but no obvious cause. Didn't work for a couple of hours (after i noticed it). Logged out&in, now working ok.
But thanks for all replies.

Since yesterday the anonymous browsing option has been missing from my reddit app
I tried to clear cache, delete and install the application again, log out and log in, and force stop
But nothing worked
Every time I attempt to switch to anonymous browsing, my screen will start to load and suddenly go blank. How do I fix this?
what the title says— when i click the account dropdown, all i get is the option to log out, no option to switch to anon browsing. i tried logging out/logging back in, toggling reddit settings in the ios settings app, and just now i updated to the newest version and still no anon browsing option. seems like other people are also experiencing this somewhat randomly. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! :)
edit: just wanted to add that when this issue occurs, powering my phone off and on again usually fixes this temporarily for me!
I am wondering when I open Reddit, mainly on my work desk top, if it is possible to have it open in anonymous browsing as default instead of with my account? I appreciate any assistance.
I remember there used to be an option on the mobile app to browse Reddit anonymously without being logged in. But when I checked now, the option is no longer there. I wonder what happened to anonymous browsing on Reddit and why they killed this feature from the app?
For about 3 days now anonymous browsing has been absent on my app. Tried clearing cache. Tried reinstalling. Verified my age. Nothing seems to have brought it back.
When I click my profile it only says logout add account
how do i turn on anonymous mode on reddit browser version im on computer btw
community page doesnt load when i click on it in anonymous mode in mobile
As stated in the title above, there are some problems with anonymous browsing on the Reddit app right now. If I try to activate it, the app just shows a grey screen indefinitely until I force close the app and open it again. I tried signing in and out, reinstalling the app, clearing the app cache and data, and rebooting my device, but it has not solved the problem.
Does it not exist (though I thought it did) My ios has no problems.
I have a screenshot but guess I cannot post it?
So to be clear:
I go to pulldown and hit "profile"
There is no arrow/pull down menu/anything on my profile like on ios app (yes I know how to do it normally)
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app
it is the official reddit version
I recall there being a private browsing mode for the reddit app, but it seems to be removed on my interface.....? Did they remove it or rename it to another tool?
