I have used Apple cases, InCase, Belkin, Tech21, Otterbox, Native Union, and Logitech (for various devices) and I have found that the Apple cases are good, but not the best in terms of durability. I. think the most durable cases tend to be the Otterbox cases, but they are expensive.
In terms of value, I think the best cases are "generic" third party cases. This is just for iPhones and Airpods, though, as the laptop generic cases I have had experiences with tend to be cheap and do not fit well.
I don't have much experience with laptop cases (not protective bags, but actual shells), so I can't comment a whole lot in that area.
I can still afford them but I don't want to. How do you find cases for your phones?

I have had my 13 for 3-4 years and haven’t had a case on it (no cracks :). I was able to get a new one through insurance for $99. Whats everyone’s thoughts on the best case? If you even use a case…
could be any type, thickness, texture, material... i'm just curious what you think is the best out there
Here’s my take. I love these with the translucent back, magsafe compatibility and thick frame. It’s the balance between versatility, looks and protection. Out of all of the cases I’ve tried, it’s my favorite
I also like the “military-grade” phone cases (2nd picture). These turn your phone into adamantium, but tend to be bulky.
Transparent phone cases tend to yellow, so I don’t like them at all
What are your thoughts on this topic?
So I don't have the 13 Pro Max yet, have my Pixel 5 but when I upgrade this year from Verizon I'm planning on getting a 13 Pro Max. With that being said I know it's a bigger phone than what I have now, and I'm not sure which case to get. I know it's a little bit premature but I figured I'd ask you guys anyways... I don't like bulky cases and as it is it's a 6.7 inch screen. I was looking at rhino shield bumper case or a bare case. But what does everyone else here think? Thanks a bunch!
Hey everyone!
I’ve been using my iPhone 13 Pro Max and a mous case cover for almost three years now, and my old case has finally started to show its age; scratches all over the back and generally worn out. I think it’s time for a replacement!
I’ve been looking at the Spigen Ultra Hybrid MagSafe (Zero One), but before I make a decision, I wanted to ask: what cases are you all using for your iPhone 13 Pro Max? Any recommendations or personal favorites you’d suggest?
Thanks in advance!
What are some cases everybody recommends for the iPhone 13
I got a Mous Limitless 4.0 case recently and while it looks nice enough, as something to protect your case, it's basically useless. In all my time using cases, I've never had a case so slippery. I am using the Popsocket wallet, so that helps with grip, but the case isn't ideal.
Does anyone have any good suggestions? It's a shame Casetify is a pretty useless company since their cases look great and look durable, but good luok ordering anything from them.
Spigen is also great for the money. However the only drawback with Spigen is the Apple Logo cutout in my opinion for some of their most popular cases.
The Speck Candyshell Pro + MagSafe is my case of choice this time around. They used a softer plastic this time around, so it doesn’t feel like you’re about to snap your phone in two when taking it out. Plus the back is a little grippy so it won’t slip and slide on flat surfaces. And it works perfectly with MagSafe, like it says in the name!
Here it is on my Midnight iPhone 13: https://i.imgur.com/4uqmFy1.jpg
And a link to it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09CBQDGSM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_66MBR00K8J4WW6WHM62Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Do you go for the clean look and minimise protection or vice versa with a bulky case for maximum protection?
I will soon buy my first iPhone (13 Pro) and I would like to buy a protective case. But I am not sure which one to buy. A silicone or leather?
I saw that there is something called a "rugged case" but I don't know what that is.
Which ones are more sustainable? Which ones are more precise (i.e. tight fit)?
I have an apple leather one and it's shit. Last time I had a leather apple case it was on iPhone 7 and it felt high quality, on iPhone 13 it feels like a cheap leather like aliexpress knockoff. Quality of these cases went to absolute shit. Definitely not worth the money, also phone keeps popping out on bottom left corner. Wife got a silicon and it'd much better.
I use Casely.
Basically the title, from your experience, what is the best case quality from the known online brands ?
I used dBrand in the past for Android, but don't have strong opinion.
Best iPhone case?
Best looking iPhone case?
I have recently purchased a iPhone 13 pro Sierra blue and would like to know if there is any case that would be good at handling falls and looking sleek at the same time. I also looked at some transparent cases but there is a chance of them turning yellow. Any experiences would be very helpful.
I opted for the Sierra Blue 13 Pro, so I’m leaning towards the dark cherry leather case from Apple. I also like to have a sturdy case (otterbox and such) for when I go on hikes.
What are you planning on getting? I’m very interested in seeing options that I haven’t heard of!
Decided on the Spigen Ultra Hybrid with magsafe as the clear apple case last year was an accident waiting to happen. Apples leather was also terrible last year, with one case chunking in months and the replacement snapping by the volume buttons this week.

Golden Brown I think will pair nicely the Sierra Blue phone. I already got my case in a few days ago.

I am a frequent phone dropper and after a recent accident was wondering what is the best "rugged" I phone case out there? I heard that otter box, Maus, and Spigen were all good but out of all of them which could take the most falls?
I’m going to buy iPhone 13, but contract is special and I have to return it after two years, so technically it’s a rental.
Do you have any recommendations since I can’t break iPhone?
Spigen Liquid Air :-)
I’d recommend a Spigen case. Been using them forever now. Imo Spigen Liquid Air is the best. Very slim and lightweight, but also adds ample protection. Another option is the Ultra Hybrid transparent cases. helps you flaunt the iPhone, but adds a little bulk.
I tried the apple silicone case too, definitely not worth it. After 3 months of heavy use, it started to wear out on the edges. 10/10 go for Spigen!
