I’ve had Quince linen and percale cotton sheets for a few months. The linen sheets are nice for the price and a good entry point to linen for first timers. Soft and comfortable, but they do get a little linty so wool dryer balls are a must. The organic percale sheets are pretty run of the mill papery kind of percale. Found them very similar to supima percale sheets you can get at Target. Despite being labeled organic, they aren’t GOTS certified. Lots of fun color options though. Just wondering how legit Quince is. I ordered something for the first time and it seemed like it was in stock according to the website but it took 2.5 weeks just to get the order processed (with a request into customer service) and now that it’s shipped, according to the tracking it’s stuck somewhere in India. Not sure if my experience is a one off?

Edit: thanks everyone for the reassurance! I didn’t realise Quince ships from India, so all good. Is the refund process easy?

If you’re on this side of Reddit you’re probably always in search of anything closest to being the best bedding you could buy. After using a bunch of high end name brands, I have to say I have settled with quince. Their bamboo sheets are AMAZING. I recommend 10/10/10. Just thought I’d share!! I also like the fact that you could purchase it without the flat sheet, I never use a flat sheet. Shipping was also quick, I’ve been sleeping on quince! (Pun intended)

r/Bedding on Reddit: Has anyone tried Quince linen sheets?
February 27, 2020 -

After my linen sheets from Parachute have torn after just a year of use I am on the hunt for some more linen sheets. Since I’ve been looking at my Instagram feed has been filled with nothing but ads for linen sheets now. Quince keeps popping up as a cheaper option. Has anyone tried their sheets? Wondering if there are more on the rough scratchy side of linen.

I realize this post is a year old but I wanted to share my experience with Quince linen sheets. I received a set of sheets for my birthday in Oct. 2021. I washed them in cool water and used the Quince lambs wool balls in my dryer. Initially I washed them 2 - 3x a month to soften the fibers a bit and then only 2x a month. In May 2022, I noticed a small hole about 1/4" in diameter in the fitted sheet on the side that I do not sleep on. I was surprised to find it, it was almost perfectly round. I contacted Quince for a replacement and they sent me a whole new set (I only asked for a fitted sheet). I was surprised and very pleased. I have not opened the new set, I was planning to mend the hole in the fitted sheet by making a small patch out of the linen bag the sheets were packed in when they arrived.

But I procrastinate so I hadn't gotten around to it yet. Last night when I got in bed, my heel went through the fitted sheet on the side where I do sleep. When I looked closely, I could see the sheet was worn away in that area and is about as thin as tissue paper. The hole is about 3" x 4".

Now, I have a brand new set that I can wash and use but it only took about 6 months for the first hole to appear and a year for the fitted sheet to wear away in that one spot. Obviously these sheets are lower priced than most linen sheets but I am disappointed with the quality after a year. Overall I think they're a decent value when you look at the cost but I did expect them to last more than a year. Again, this is only the fitted sheet, the top sheet and pillow cases are in perfect condition.

I was checking them out yesterday but went with The Company Store instead. In the reviews that I read it mentioned that the Quince linen set was soft. It was really hard to find reviews that didn’t smack of affiliate marketing though.

Upgrading to a king bed which means all new bedding. Quince is at the top of my list just because of how good of a deal I’ll get on a bundle that includes the duvet.

I am very open to recommendations on sheets that are cool, crisp, and soft like a hotel bed. My budget for sheets is $200…. Please help me out!

r/NYCbitcheswithtaste on Reddit: Local Options for Bedding, Alternatives to Quince? Does Brooklinen Compare?
August 3, 2025 -

Trying to get us to buy more locally and less online!

We need new sheets, duvet, duvet covers, pillow cases. I was thinking of trying Quince, but if there's a brand with comparable quality, style, price range, and colors that has a location on the ground, preferably in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, or the Bronx, then that would be ideal! Any suggestions?

I'd be open a combo if I can't find the color scheme + quality I'm looking for, etc. I'm thinking of redecorating our bedroom around a muted green (sage, olive green) and terracotta color scheme. Brooklinen has a similarly branded "European washed linen" in a compatible green shade, but no terracotta, for example. Debating which color I want for the duvet color and some of the pillows vs. sheets. Either is fine, but they're slightly different vibes. Earthy and tranquil, could lead into a slightly adult bohemian look, but one is muted, cool and the other warm. Just side notes on what I'm looking for.

r/Bedding on Reddit: My impression of Quince's bamboo bedding set after 10 days of use and 2 washes
January 11, 2025 -

I requested this as a Christmas gift. I received the full bundle as follows: Fitted sheet, flat sheet, duvet cover, 2 sham pillowcases (which are really standard size pillow cases) and 4 queen sized pillowcases because we made the mistake of adding on an extra set of pillowcases not realizing they already came with the sheet set. It did not occur to me that there were 4 items in the sheet set photo and it's not detailed very well on the product page for the bundle and save. Anyway, no big deal, we just have an extra set. Here are some photos, the first after the first wash and the second after the second wash 10 days later.

Positives: Way more affordable than other brands (maybe at the cost of sustainability though the verdict is out on whether bamboo is actually sustainable - I just really wanted soft sheets). They are extremely soft and not too warm to sleep with (perfect for me who has sensitive skin and sleeps cold and my boyfriend who sleeps hot). The color of the fabric is as pictured online. I have the sheets and pillow cases in the light gray color and the duvet cover and sham pillowcases in the olive green color. It looks and feels nicer than the crappy cotton bedding I've bought from Simon's and Ikea here in Canada (Simon's being particularly overpriced), and nicer than the bamboo pillowcases I've bought from Linen Chest, which were decent, but not quite as soft. Note that Quince does not ship to Canada, I had my parents order this for me in the US since we were visiting for the holidays.

I washed these before first use less than 2 weeks ago. Washed according to the label, cold water, gentle cycle, separate from any other material. I also washed the olive duvet and pillowcases separate from the gray sheet set to avoid any colors bleeding. Before first wash they felt almost satiny and I was skeptical, but they came out like butter.

I wouldn't fault Quince for this as it is likely just bamboo in general, but it is very slippery. The top right corner of the fitted sheet comes off every single night, a problem I've never had with other sheets. Not a deal-breaker, we can just use clips. We had to get a new, larger duvet insert since the duvet is full/queen and our duvet was full size. I love having a bigger duvet now, but the heaviness of the larger blanket it being oversized for our bed, and the slipperiness of bamboo means the blanket is sometimes falling off the end of the bed and can get annoying. Again, not a dealbreaker for me. One thing to note is that when looking for duvet inserts, I found that duvet sizes are wildly inconsistent between Simon's, Linen Chest, and Ikea, but found one that fit the duvet cover (was the same length but bigger by 2 inches on each side, which I don't mind. Maybe comforters/duvets in the US have a standard size that would fit this.

What is very disappointing, however, is the quality, even at this lower price point. I already started noticing faint discoloration on the light gray sheets (some faint whiter areas), particularly toward the top of the sheets where we are laying or sitting up in bed. Noticed this before the first wash. In addition, there are some pulls (presumably from our toenails) on the bottom of the sheet. This is a relatively delicate fabric. After the second wash today, I was really disappointed to see the beginning of some faint pilling on the duvet cover and sheets. We've washed them exactly according to the instructions and have been pretty gentle with the bedding so far. Finally, and this is the most disappointing thing for me, is the dark splotches that have appeared on the olive pillowcases (the ones we've mostly used for sleeping). I assume it was caused by drooling or oils in our hair, but I've never seen a pillowcase get discolored like this, let alone after less than two weeks of use. I'm so upset that it is already aging like this.

All that being said, they are still incredibly comfortable to sleep with, but I would potentially update my review over time if the quality deteriorates more. They feel luxurious and the quality issues I mentioned here aren't particularly visible at this point. I don't think they are a bad purchase persay and as of now would still recommend them if you really want bamboo and have a lower budget, but even with how delicate bamboo can be, I'm a little disappointed after being so excited a few weeks ago (mainly because I have so much trouble deciding to buy things because everything seems to be made like crap in the last couple years and I prefer to invest in nicer quality when I can).

My rich bosses has cozy earth sheets but I’m wondering if it’s worth the price difference to get quince ones? Or are they not as good quality? Thanks everyone :)

Hey guys, brooklinen down comforter all season vs ultra warm. Let me know what you guys think. Also, brooklinen was rated top down by wire cutter and 2 different top 10 sites. It’s $360 on sale. My problem Is that it’s 85% Hutterite duck down and 15% Hutterite feathers compared to Quince 100% down. Quince luxe down looks legit but seems like most people love the brooklinen down. Quince luxe is $379 and the premium is $299.

Or if anyone has any other recommendations let me know .

Thank you!

I'm looking for an all white set (probably dumb since I have a black dog that likes to sleep on our bed...). Both include fitted and flat sheets, duvet cover, and 2 pillowcases (actually looks like 2 extra for Quince).

(was also looking at brooklinen and ll bean but those are both about the same price as coyuchi)
