Me and a friend both bought the silk Casette dress last year; it looks so stunning and easy to wear online! On both of us, each with very different body types (I’m a beanpole, she’s petite hourglass) we each looked like we had lost a fight with a too small trashbag. The silk had a very shiny artificial look to it, and was so utterly paper thin that it accentuated every blemish to the point where it looked like we had mountainous lumps and bumps all over our body. Honestly traumatizing 😂 That being said this could be simply down to that one particular design and not be reflective of their silk as a whole. But I wouldn’t want to subject myself to the risk again!
