My laptop has, um, issues. It is a 2 in 1 Asus and has had problems for quite some time. I like the machine's features, but it runs slower than shit, freezes, etc. It's well specced out (or at least was when I bought it) and I'm not asking it to do much. It's not like I'm overly taxing the thing (assuming it were running normal that is).
I've tried reinstalling the OS a number of times but it doesn't seem to rectify the problem. Certainly appears to be HW based.
Looking to get an assessment and estimate on what the repair might cost in order to decide if I should repair it or just buy a new one.
Live over in Rens Co but go into my office in Schenectady twice a week so really anything between the two would work.

check out https://www.delmartian.com . He’s a repair guy located in Delmar and works out of his home. This guy is incredible, I found him when I needed parts replaced in my PC. He is super freaking kind and knowledgeable. He has a page on his site talking about the types of service he offers and an about me section highlighting his skills and history. Super chill dude, I emailed him one night and we discussed my issues and recommended repair options before drop off.
