I have an adult developmentally disabled son, and I handle his money for him. For years, I've used the American Express Bluebird card for him - when his Social Security comes, I load his monthly allowance on the card, and he uses it to buy what he wants within the limited amount. No fees, it works great. He can easily check the balance on the app. Unfortunately, we've been notified that Bluebird is being discontinued next year. I need to find another reloadable debit card. I'd prefer no fees. I see that Venmo and PayPal both offer one, through Mastercard. Any other suggestions? I might stop by our bank and see if they offer anything similar.
