We e been looking at Greenlight, Current, Step, and cashApp. Venmo was on the table until I created an account and it was unmediated frozen for no reason. What is the best choice for a 14 and 11 year old? Also has to be reloadable.

My kids both have cards through our primary bank. It makes it easy to reload, there are no fees, we have options for what happens when they hit their limit, and it's easy to transition to more independence as they get older.

I used Greenlight for a while but got tired of the fees associated with it. I would just stick with a bank and add them as a user on it. That way you can lock the card itself and usually no fees are involved. Out of what you listed though I would probably suggest cashApp and you can let them design their card…. Or may I suggest if they have an iPhone you just use Apple Pay. Then they don’t have to keep up with a card and can just pay using the phone. I guess android lay works as well I’m just not familiar with it.
Wanting to get a depit card for my boys
We went with capital one for our kids. But that’s our primary bank so it was very easy to add. They have their own log ins, I can see everything. The older kids have Zelle. We’ve been very happy with everything. More on reddit.com

Have you looked into junior bank accounts at your bank? I think they’re hooked up to the parents bank account, and most banks have mobile banking so you may be able to transfer funds to their junior account whenever you want from your banks app. I’m not completely sure, but you could call your bank and ask!
