It's just an extra tool you can add to your toolbelt. If it works for you, great. Though a professional/commercial photographer shouldn't really struggle in taking sharp photos to begin with. Plenty of ways to fix/prevent that on the spot. Ignore the boomers that despise AI and swear to never use it. They'll be falling behind rather sooner than later and won't be able to compete anymore if they don't hop on the AI-train at some point. Personally never used Remini, but to me it looks like 'just another one of those AI enhancers' of which there are tons already on the market. Seems like it does all the same stuff like Topaz, etc. The stats on their website are probably fake though. Never heard anybody talk about it before yet they have millions of monthly downloads. Weird. Or maybe that's because they also have a mobile app. More on reddit.com

Back 2 years ago I used to use the Remini app for ALL my photos. This one in particular is of my Dad's late cousin. As you can see it's realistic, it's clear, and amazing quality in 2021. After just some basic enhancing, descratch to remove any tears/scratches in the physical photo, increasing of pixelation in photoshop to make the photo easier to read by the AI, and then retro to really bring the photo to life.
However a new update came where they removed literally every single feature about a year ago. Retro was gone, video enhance was gone. I mean I remember there being countless of options to now only just one. They removed saving enhanced pictures to their little history folder. And the AI isn't even as accurate or as realistic as it was before. I used the same effects on the original photo for proper comparison.
Now everything they ask for payment when it used to all be free. There's even watermarks now?? Like what??

Everything nowadays is gonna have some payment. Cutout.pro https://www.cutout.pro/photo-enhancer-sharpener-upscaler and replicate have been better in my experience. Replicate is pretty cheap after the free trial- only like .05 cents a photo. And cutout.pro varies but I spend $10 a month for it. Does anyone have any new suggestions? I'm really bummed that I can't find a comparable app or site that I can use. I don't have the money for a subscription, and apparently watching ads for Remini isn't enough to actually get a nice result anymore.
