I haven't heard of it, will probably never use it, didn't even research it. But short term contracts like that often target short term users. It takes care of your immediate need, right now if its a week-to-week basis, which it sounds like just because of the cost. More on reddit.com

Back 2 years ago I used to use the Remini app for ALL my photos. This one in particular is of my Dad's late cousin. As you can see it's realistic, it's clear, and amazing quality in 2021. After just some basic enhancing, descratch to remove any tears/scratches in the physical photo, increasing of pixelation in photoshop to make the photo easier to read by the AI, and then retro to really bring the photo to life.
However a new update came where they removed literally every single feature about a year ago. Retro was gone, video enhance was gone. I mean I remember there being countless of options to now only just one. They removed saving enhanced pictures to their little history folder. And the AI isn't even as accurate or as realistic as it was before. I used the same effects on the original photo for proper comparison.
Now everything they ask for payment when it used to all be free. There's even watermarks now?? Like what??

Everything nowadays is gonna have some payment. Cutout.pro https://www.cutout.pro/photo-enhancer-sharpener-upscaler and replicate have been better in my experience. Replicate is pretty cheap after the free trial- only like .05 cents a photo. And cutout.pro varies but I spend $10 a month for it. Does anyone have any new suggestions? I'm really bummed that I can't find a comparable app or site that I can use. I don't have the money for a subscription, and apparently watching ads for Remini isn't enough to actually get a nice result anymore.
