How do I get rid of update payment information notifications?
How do I get rid of update payment notifications on iPhone?
How do I get rid of update payment information?
Hey guys,
so I am currently subscribed to the extra iCloud storage plan for 0,99€ per month.
However, I recently got a new card from my bank and obviously, the payment didn't go through since the old one was already deactivated.
Now I already paid but the orange (1) badge still shows in the settings app.
How can I deactivate this?
Clicking it only shows me the option to add new payment sources or remove whereas I cannot remove the original source for whatever reason.
I dislike this unnecessary badge so much, can anyone help me please?
Thanks in advance.
Hello Blessing,
While your reply was comprehensive, it was not answering the question. We dont need to update the payment details. This is done. The question is why is Microsoft still requesting we do it via a pop-up message, typically when we start the system. Something somewhere on the Microsoft side is clearly not updating correctly.

You can change your Microsoft subscription payment method using the steps below:
- Sign in to Services and subscriptions with your Microsoft account using this link https://account.microsoft.com/services
- Find the subscription in the list, select Manage, and then select Change how you pay.
- Selecting Change how you pay gives you a list of your current payment options.
- If you don't see the option you want, select Add a new way to pay from that list and follow the instructions. See source for guidance: https://support.microsoft.com/help/39ab4bc1-01f9-fc28-c3a5-49e87b6e7611
If you are still unable to add a new payment method for your Microsoft 365 subscription, please contact Microsoft support to assist you as payment method/credit card details has to do with sensitive information.
- Go to http://support.office.com/home/chat

- Select your product (Microsoft 365 and Office) and category (manage my subscription) > click Confirm.
- Click ‘Chat with support agent’ > Confirm.
- Click Start Chat.
Hope this helps!
