Soundlink mini 2 problem can someone help? PLEASE
This is likely a common software fault. Basically the system can’t make sense of its own battery level. It can be fixed with a software update via a USB cable to a computer and the Bose website. More on reddit.com

Bose Soundlink Color ll Issues (Connected but no sound)

“ If the speaker seems to connect but will not play audio, try restarting it with the following procedure:

Connect the speaker to power.

Press and hold the Multi-function button for 10 seconds.

While continuing to hold the button, unplug the speaker from power. Then release the Multi-function button.

To completely reset the speaker, press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds until the speaker turns off.”

This seemed to work with our Bose Soundlink Color 2 (had same issue, resolved with this this morning).

The multifunction button is the button between volume buttons. You can see it in the manual (which also has some troubleshooting points at the end):

The bottom of first page and the second page cover placing into Ship Mode.

The fix seems to be putting into Ship Mode and then possibly Reseting (wiping) speaker, where you’ll have to pair devices again like it was new.

I have a Soundlink mini 2 and after some time I’m trying to use it again... I connected it directly to the wall to charge, the yellow light started flashing and afer some seconds it turned off an it’s doing the same thing every time I connect it to power... What should I do?? Can someone please help me?

This is a super common issue apparently. I JUST finished going through this. Trouble shooting: make sure you have the firmware update. This should work even if the unit won’t hold a charge. It will say on the website when the unit is plugged in. hard reset: with either the multifunction button (3 dots) or power button. Make sure your speaker is plugged into power. Hold ONE of the buttons for 10-15 seconds, unplug and release the button, plug it back in. You may need to repeat multiple times. The speaker should show some signs of functioning (Bluetooth and power buttons light up, or speaker “battery low” response). hard reset: ALL BUTTONS. Do this only if 2) is unsuccessful. Going through the buttons one at a time (I pushed mine in this order: multifunction, power, audio up, then the rest, I don’t think order really matters), do a hard reset. Make sure the speaker is plugged into power. For each button individually, hold for 10-15 seconds, unplug from power, release the button, plug it back in, until you’ve done this with all the buttons. This is what turned mine back on. The firmware update should hopefully prevent you from going through this again, but unfortunately this is a well known bug with the sound link colour 2. I had to do option 2) for 10+ minutes and then switched to option 3. This whole process (firmware update included) took 30+ minutes. Edit to add: some people say you have to be plugged into a computer. Option 3) was done on a computer outlet. I’m not entirely sure it makes a difference. After getting it to hold the charge (amber blinking light), I was able to successfully unplug from my pc and move it to an outlet. It’s working fine now!

Hi there,

As title suggests, I have a Bose Soundlink Color II and it's showing that it's connected to my bluetooth device (iPhone) but once it's connected no sound comes out when I'm playing any sort of music.

The voice prompts from the Speaker are still working (e.g. "Battery high - connected to ______'s iPhone"), so I have no reason to believe that the audio is completely non-functional.

I've checked that the volume isn't at 0, and have also checked that it is updated to the latest firmware.

Any advice/suggestions from you guys are highly appreciated! :D
