I suggest you strip the comforter during one of those washes each year. 🛁 Fill the bathtub with the hottest water possible 🛁 Dissolve the mixture in hot tub water: ¼ cup baking soda ¼ cup borax 2 cups liquid laundry detergent or ½ cup powder laundry detergent 🛁 Add your comforter and submerge. Soak for 2-24 hours. Any issues with doing so? I know it says to remove from washer and hang to dry, but I’d love it if I could just throw it in the dryer.
Also, if anyone here has tried this. Please let me know what setting and for how long you’re drying cycle was and if it had any effect on the comforter or the cooling technology. TIA!!

I’ve only ever air dried it or put it on low heat tumble dry but my boyfriend just put it through the dryer on high so… I don’t know if it’s ruined or not. It seems fine but at the moment it’s super hot and just seems like it’s a normal blanket now.😭
