Which hearing aids are compatible with Rexton Assist?
Where can I find the Rexton App?
What is Rexton Assist?
Hello all,
I am using Rexton RIC hearing aids and have connected them to the app on my Android device.
On the app, the default level is set to 8, and I can adjust the slider up to 15. I find that the voice quality is more comfortable around level 12. However, I am unsure if it is recommended to make such adjustments and if it might impact my hearing health.
Could anyone please explain the purpose of this slider? Is there an ideal position for the slider level?
I am currently outside the country where I purchased the hearing aids, and my present location does not seem to sell this brand. They offer Signia instead.
Thanks
Edit: When I set the sound level to 0, it feel the aids are turned off. So, how is this sound level calibrated from 0 to 15. I wonder if there is any correlation between the amplication level (set by audiologist) and the sound level that I set in the app. Anyone with technical details, please feel free to discuss.
