Make sure the specialist fitting you is experienced with Rexton, there were issues with the previous version (Bi-Core) so they avoided recommending them and didn't always update their training. Helps to watch YouTube videos about them before picking them up, so that you know what programs you want and what questions to ask. Costco had problems and stopped selling their Kirkland aids in 2022. As a result the higher end Phillips and Jabra models have been discounted about $1000 to replace the Kirkland model. The jabra aids are about $2200/pair Canadian including tax right now. Similar hearing aids form audiologist are around $5000. Great time to buy. There’s a new Kirkland version coming too, probably next year. More on reddit.com

Please report back how they work for you. I went to Costco and the tech steered me away from the Rexton (to Philips 9040s, to be upgraded to 9050s). Said she had so much trouble with the Bi-Cores, >50% returns. Problems were dead unit, dead battery, battery not holding charge, bluetooth connections dropping, especially with Android. Please tell me your experience with the hearing aids sold at Costco. What is the quality of product like? Their pricing seems to be about 1/4 of what I was quoted for "mid range" hearing aids at an independent hearing centre. Is Costco's markup that much lower or does the pricing reflect the quality of the product?
I'm completely new to hearing aids, so I have no reference for comparison. I really would appreciate the guidance of this community.

The only place I have been to but it was a great service. Been three years now, going back to get new ones in a few weeks. My ks 9.0 had a problem and they sent them back and got me new ones no questions and no hassle. Very affordable and a life improving product. Would recommend.
