The next film from Eggers is Nosferatu, but we know little about his future projects. Here, I'll list all the future projects (that I found) that he mentioned in an interview or that were reported somewhere. I'll also speculate on some of his future projects based on his shorts, and I'll put all the references here so you can check this information. And I'd like you to give your opinion on these potential projects, which ones you're most interested in, which are most likely to happen, and what to expect from these projects.
Rasputin (miniseries)
The Knight (film)
I checked Focus Features' list of upcoming projects and "The Knight" was on the list.
I'll also mention the short films; he can work on these stories better in the future. I don't believe "Brothers" would work since it was a project to fund and convey the atmosphere of "The Witch," but I included it to be more comprehensive.
Hansel & Gretel (short film already produced)
The Tell-Tale Heart (short film already produced)
Brothers (short film already produced)
He also mentioned about "closing a trilogy" started in "The Witch" and continued in "The Lighthouse." But I don't remember where I read this information, but I know it exists.
Closing a Trilogy???
Now I want to know your opinion. One question, what are the chances of "Rasputin," if given the green light, becoming a movie, do you think it would work?
To wrap up, I'm a big Brazilian fan of Robert, so if there are any Brazilians here, please, get in touch with me.
Was there a project missing?

The film starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lily Rose-Depp, and Willem Dafoe will hopefully feature elements of witchcraft, which connects both NOSFERATU and THE VVITCH together.
What do you think this movie should be based off of? Let me know in the comments down below.

‘NOSFERATU’ is one the best horror movies I've seen in recent years. After that, Eggers has a Werewolf movie next year set in the 13th century. I'm extremely excited because I love Robert Eggers as a filmmaker.
What do you guys think Eggers can do next? Let me know in the comments below.
Do you consider Nosferatu 2024 as your best project? If so, what would be that film's competition The Lighthouse, The Witch or The Northman?
I know it's hard to choose when supposedly all three films are good, but I'd like to know the general opinion.
Basically what the title says. I know he only has three feature films to date (not counting the short films), with the Nosferatu remake being the fourth, but I was curious to see how others were ranking his movies alongside one another.
Given that Eggers has quite the lineup and work ahead of him, I would love to hear about some new actors and actresses you want to see in his upcoming work, especially The Werwulf. I have accumulated a little list of actors I think would match the substance and style of his films, as well as just excellent actors who I personally would like to see in an Eggers world: Casey Affleck, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Josh O’Connor, Maika Monroe, Alba Baptista, Andrew Garfield, Mads Mikkelsen, and Daniel Day-Lewis.
Eggers is one of the most exciting voices in film today and I can't wait to see what he does with Nosferatu. His last three movies have been absolutely stellar period pieces with genre twists, and examples of exceptionally layered storytelling.
Personally, I enjoyed and appreciated The Northman for its epic scope, and I loved the dark humor and surreal atmosphere in The Lighthouse, but The Witch remains my favorite Eggers movie.
What strikes you about Eggers as a filmmaker and how would you rank his filmography so far, against the likes of contemporaries like the Safdies and Ari Aster? Which is your favorite Eggers movie?
I still don't have a definitive ranking after Nosferatu. I really enjoyed the film, and it's tied with The Lighthouse for second place, but I need to watch the extended version of Nosferatu, rewatch The Lighthouse and The Northman to have a final ranking.

The Witch 2 & 3. The Lighthouse and Nosferatu

The Northman
I really liked Nosferatu, but it hasn't surpassed The Witch, which for me is simply perfect. However, it's tied with The Lighthouse, which is almost on the same level as The Witch for me. I like The Northman, but I think it's the weakest in Eggers' filmography, although I need to watch it again; I've only seen it once.
Wasn't too familiar with his work before seeing trailers for Nosferatu, had only really heard of The Lighthouse so thought I'd go back and watch all his work before going to the cinema this evening to see Nosferatu. He's got a new fan in me and I can't wait to see what he does next! If anyone has any recommendations of similar directors please feel free to mention 🙏
(Really just wanted to post the recent activity because it looks cool)
