The Roblox app is forcing an upgrade to a newer version. However, when i click Update in the appstore nothing happens. Has anyone else run into this? Can’t play the app until it updates. Thanks

I fucking hate Amazon for this. Every other week my kid needs this app updated, and the ONLY thing that works is uninstalling and reinstalling the app. But first you better delete 7 other games and 50 pictures because now somehow the tablet is out of storage and needs more to install Roblox, which was just deleted. Long pressing and clicking check for update does nothing, and if I open the app it tells me to upgrade the game but I can’t because “this feature is blocked on Amazon Kids.”

The Amazon Kindle Fire Userbase are claiming that their ROBLOX App says it needs to update, so, when you go to the App Store to update it, it only says Open, not update.

*** Found Fix *** I was looking for a solution to this problem just like it seems everyone here was. How I managed to fix it (no 48 hour wait): Delete the app from every profile on the tablet (even the parent profile). After you delete the app from every profile on the device, power it down. With the device powered off, hold the power and volume up and down buttons together. After a few seconds of holding the buttons, a boot menu will appear. Use the volume up and down buttons to navigate to "Wipe cache partition" and select it with the power button. Restart the device normally and reinstall Roblox. This is what does it for me every time. If it doesn’t work, follow the steps again from #1. I’ve never had not work after two tries. More on reddit.com

hi all,
Roblox is only app that gives me issues. When I try to install it, it downloads then switches to install icon and after some time gives "!" in lower corner, when you tap that it says There was an error contact Amazon Customer Service (error code -100002). I contacted them but they want me to factory reset which is BS in my eyes as no other app gives any issues. Did anyone had same issue and managed to resolve it?
I cleared cache and data many times, many restats. Permissions are given in Parent dashboard on device and I checked web version as well. There are no additional restrictions setup on my kid profile. I have tons of space 8GB+
Any help advice would be appreciated. I asked many times what error code -100002 means as I work in support myself but they did not provide me that answer.
oh and Roblox works fine on parent profile....

After some research I found out that Amazon doesn't know the problem but has learned that after a waiting period of 48 hours the issue resolves itself

Is the Amazon Fire HD 10 Tablet ok for Roblox? His young daughter (like 10 or below i think)

I just checked and Roblox is available in the Amazon app store. Not every App is in the Amazon app store, but there is a way to install Google play store and most apps will run on a Fire. You might be asked to do that for other apps. Just Google for the instructions to enable Google Play Store on a Fire.
