I've tried installing the latest bluetooth drivers for intel AX200 from Intel's own website.

Turned off bluetooth in BIOS, restarted, turned it back on

Unplugged LAN cable and wifi connects, but no bluetooth (same intel chips provides both)
I'm out of ideas, it seems like the bluetooth part of the Intel chip has malfunctioned or something. Anyone else experience this?
EDIT: Tried the Windows Bluetooth troubleshooter and it straight up says my computer doesn't have bluetooth.

EDIT: SOLVED, I shut my computer down fully, flipped the power supply switch off, and then held down the power button for 30 seconds. Powered it back on and bluetooth is back.

For anyone who found none of the above solutions helpful: Disable Bluetooth controller in BIOS (approx: Advanced -> OnBoard Devices -> Bluetooth) Boot to Windows Reboot and enter BIOS Enable Bluetooth controller in BIOS Boot to Windows - controller is back with all the BT devices

Issue solved indeed!! Thank you for sharing these steps.. My Bluetooth went missing after I uninstalled my GPU from device manager (was trying to solve another issue, which was my PC crashing after an hour or so after waking from Sleep mode) supposed if you uninstall GRAPHIC CARD from device manager and restart PC it would solve the problem, but that got hit with another surprise, my Bluetooth icon disappearing just as you mentioned. Attempted to update Bluetooth drivers and nothing, but after following your steps, issue SOLVED!! Again, thank you very much for sharing.. Saved me a lot of time.. Kept thinking about what next step I was going to take to try to solve issue..

Yes you'll be fine. When dealing with amd it's simple. If the socket, in this case "AM4" matches you're good to make the swap. Gets more complicated with Intel and chipsets. But yes your. Cpu, gpu, and RAM should all be fine, just be sure to update to the latest bios.

Yes it supports it. It's backwards compatible with the earlier generations of PCI devices. I'm running a gen 4 NVMe drive on mine and it works great, but it will run any of them. Note that there's a heat shield on this motherboard, so for some of the Gen 4 devices, which have built in heat dissipators of their own, you may have to choose between removing one of the onboard heat dissipation shields, or the one on your NVMe drive. I chose to pop off the one over the M.2_2 port and keep the big copper covers that came with my stock NVMe drive, and it seems to work fine that way. A normal NVM

This board does not have Bluetooth. The rog crosshair viii hero (wifi) does have it though. It's the exact same board but it has wifi and Bluetooth built into it. I don't think bestbuy carries that model though.

I had this problem until I updated the motherboard BIOS to 4201 using the file downloaded from the ROG website. ROG-CROSSHAIR-VIII-HERO-WIFI-ASUS-4201.CAP After rebooting and asserting the optimized defaults/rebooting, the problem was gone and Bluetooth mouse came right up like magic.
