Hi, I just built my first pc and I am ready to install drivers
I updated to the latest BIOs and all is working fine so far.
But there is still firmware from the bios website. Should I install it?
And from the drivers and tools section there are LAN, wireless, Chipset, Audio, Bluetooth, Asus AI suite, SATA and VGA driver.
My CPU is Ryzen 7 9800x3D
GPU RX 9070 XT
I do not know if I should install these drivers?
Asus AI suite, SATA and VGA
I think the rest of them can be installed like LAN and etc.
I appreciate any help
Hi.
Seeing similar Reddit posts about this topic, i believe this has happened before.
I'm trying to download Firmware files for some ASUS ROG motherboards and i get nothing from the official ASUS website.
I tried multiple browsers and multiple devices but i just get a blank listing.
Tried some non-ROG motherboards and they list Drivers and Firmware files just fine.
What do i do to fix this?
Please help, this is quite urgent.

So, I have an ASUS B550-i Rog Strix motherboard.
The official ASUS website support page for my motherboard shows the latest drivers for my various motherboard on the download page, but most of them are showing release dates from last year or even previous years. The Armory Crate updater also shows older driver releases. In fact, some of the components on my motherboard have newer driver versions showing then what the Armory Crate and the official ASUS support site are showing available. I'm assuming windows update upgraded those.
Most are the Intel Bluetooth WIFI/LAN drivers, the AMD chipset drivers, the Realtek Audio drivers, etc...
But when I look these device model numbers up on the manufacturers website, like Intel or AMD directly, those sites are showing drivers updated in the past couple week or months.
QUESTION: should I be manually grabbing the most recent drivers for these motherboard chips and devices directly from the manufacturers themselves?
Or should I just stick the with older versions showing on the ASUS Armory Crate and the ASUS website?
I like staying with the latest/greatest for all updating, but I don't understand why ASUS isn't showing the latest greatest available on their own support pages for their devices? Are they not compatible with ASUS or something?
Thanks.
I'm doing a usb re-install of windows 11 on my Rog duo 16.. i have never done a reinstall as such but have watched some videos online and feel quite confident to do it on my own.. I just wanted to know what all essential drivers and softwares prerequisites I would need and is there a one stop shop/source where I could find all of em and download and keep on a pendrive and run em one by one right after the Win 11 is done installing? Is this the right way.
The most logical or obvious way i thought was so just download all the software/drivers from the Ghelper update columns.. will that suffice?
I've been procrastinating the reinstall which is much needed and just because I am unsure what id do right after and to not mess something up I've been pushing it to a later day
Any tips/advice would be a great help Thanks
