Hello, I bought my rog Strix B450-F back in 2020 September, I built a new pc with a Ryzen 5600G and currently get no display when booting the pc up, I also have an orange Ram light on, I have tried every ram slot in many ways and even with completely different ram, Is there anything I can do to update the Bios please.

New to pc building. Planning on getting a Ryzen 5 3600+B450F. Do all mobos have this feature? More specifically the B450-f.

Another option would be return the mobo and get 1 that is 5000 compliant or has bios flashback , if you are still in your return policy window.
The price on newegg for my son's mobo has come down. It has been a good board so far for a 2600x,and his current 3600 which will get a 5600x in July for his B-Day.
DANG IT'S HARD!!!!!! letting that 5600x sit in a draw waiting till July.

Unfortunately that is pretty much all you can do unless you have a local PC store that you could take your PC to and they can update the BIOS for you.I believe AMD offer a service where they will send you a 2nd/3rd gen cpu so you can update it yourself but I know it takes awhile to sort out.

June 20, 2020 - That MB does Not have a BIOS Flashback feature so you need Ryzen 1000 or Ryzen 2000 CPU to update the BIOS. Does the MB Box have a Ryzen 3000 Desktop ready sticker on it ? If it does then it should boot with the 3700x installed, if it has the Ryzen 2000 Sticker you need to update the BIOS.
