Finally got around to building a PC and have been running into some issues getting my audio to work how I want. I'm planning to buy speakers, but for gaming I'd love to be able to use a headset.
I've been trying to set up my bluetooth headphones but to no avail--I've googled and googled and cannot seem to get a straight answer on whether my motherboard actually has bluetooth or not. It seems slightly impossible to believe it DOESN'T, but then again, it's not working so who knows. I've gone into Device manager and there's a bluetooth logo, but the "Bluetooth generic adapter" icon (which is nested under the Bluetooth icon) has Error 403.
Anyways--I just would love any advice for how I can get my headphones working on this build--if it's a matter of buying a bluetooth receiver of some sort, so be it!

Heys guys,
I am building a pc for the first time and I chose the ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING motherboard. Besides the LAN connection I was interested in a WiFi connection as well. Looking at the website of various sellers, the same mainboard (I checked the product numbers) sometimes does have a WiFi module on it, sometimes it does not. I am a bit new to the matter, maybe someone already has the mainboard in use and can help me out?
Here are the links (German shops, as I am located there) to the various descriptions:
Cyberport states WIFI + Bluetooth: https://www.cyberport.de/?DEEP=2301-9T3
Alternate say nothing about WiFi or Bluetooth: https://www.alternate.de/ASUS/ROG-STRIX-B550-F-GAMING-Mainboard/html/product/1647952?
And even the Asus website does give much info: https://rog.asus.com/de/Motherboards/ROG-Strix/ROG-STRIX-B550-F-GAMING-model/Spec
Online, in Youtube video it is stated, that it does have WIFI. Following the link below, it suddenly tells something else: WIFI N/A - so not available : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCJ-Ovc-jjQ
Any tips or other info is deeply appreciated. Stay healthy guys!
Hello Nicole. This is Emily.
Have you tried downloading the driver from Asus support website for this motherboard? Try the Wi-Fi driver first, if it is not working install chipset driver and BIOS as well. If it still doesn’t work chance is hardware issue. You will need Asus support in that case.
Did you install them? If it’s not showing after installation then download and install BIOS. If it still doesn’t show you will need Asus support next.
